I know that usb loader gx crashing to black when attempting to launch games and then needing a console restart is quite common after my days of searching but it has happened suddenly without me changing anything to do with the consoles settings whatsoever, games used to work perfectly and now I can’t even get them to start, I have tried re-installing cios and usb loader gx and I have got no idea where to go from here
Any help would be appreciated

Correct syscheck report.

I advise you to install priiloader for more security ==>

what is your usb media?? ? And what format??
I have been using a fat32 formatted usb flash drive which I know isn’t recommended but it has worked for a long time so I’m just confused on why it’s suddenly stoped, thanks for the help so far :)

I would format your Flash drive to WBFS (use Wii Backup Manager) & add all your Wii games in one go.
What size, make/model, & anything in the other Wii USB port ?

I know it's simpler to use Fat32 with/on your PC, but you will get better game compatibility using WBFS format. The price of success vs inconvenience.

Also, some Wii apps tend to reset settings (yeah, crap happens). Go through your settings carefully. You did say that it worked before. Just remember carefully what you did to your Wii to change things. Something you won't find directly on Google ;)

Thanks for the recommendations :) , I’ll try using wbfs format for my usb but I’ll have to research it a bit more as I’m running Linux so would have to use Wii backup fusion, also about resetting settings I honestly can’t remember changing any to get the games to work in the first place, all I remember is changing one setting to get them to run in colour. I do have an sd card formatted in fat 32 and was wondering if I should use that instead as it has considerably more storage, I can only fit 1 game at a time onto my current usb, thanks 👍

WBFS on Sd = No :( It won't happen (the way you want it to).
Wiibafu is a good app. I have no experience with Linux, whatso ever.
Rest easy. Wbfs is better than you can imagine, but like I stated, it's inconvenient with the ease of pc platforms.
How big is your SD card ? You can go bigger. Mine is 256gb (cheap), but I have successfully used 512gb. Can store many game :)

Not necessarily just about changing settings, but almost anything, even a new game (re)install can play havoc with functionality.
If your SD card is that small (in capacity), then I would say it's on the older side. Perhaps it's time to think newer/bigger SD card. Micro SD in adapters are the way to go (for me) & cheaper. Pick a better brand & go for it :)

I’ll attempt to use my sd card then it’s 128gb and is fat 32. Hopefully it works :).

Make sure your USB drive is in port 0. The closet one to the edge or the bottom one if laying flat. Had the same issue a couple of days ago and after much searching I had it plugged into the wrong usb port. I'm using a USB to micro SD converter though so a little different.
