Edit: SOLVED! I, uh, tried the other USB sport and it worked. Silly me...

Hello,

Firstly, please excuse my lack of knowledge when it comes to this stuff, just tried getting into it today with a old Wii I got for cheap.

Secondly, after following many guides and tutorials I just cannot seem to get USB Loader GX to launch Mario Kart Wii. It will show the little video thing and the settings right next to the start button. What happens when I hit start is it first goes to a black screen and I notice the wiimote disconnects. After ~20 seconds or so it will go to the Homebrew menu. I have tried messing around with settings, cIOS install things, etc.

One thing I've come to learn from my research is that flash drives don't seem to work well. Unfortunately I am not able to get an external drive right now, or in the near-future for that matter, and so I need to make do with the 3 flash drives I have laying around(2 Lexar 32GB, 1 Dane 8GB).

Hello.:)

That can happen from time to time.
Nice to see it works for now.

ModMii tells about the following about your sysCheck:

If you experience any troubles with games you may update your Wii.:)

Have fun with your Wii now.:yaywii:
