Well guys, the moment you've been waiting for has arrived!

Delete coperti folder, delete gui-fx from HBC, wipe clean everything related to gui-fx and install

    the ! legal ! GUI-FX - Forwarder / Installer channel: GUI-FX-forwarder-installer.rar 1.43 MB http://ul.to/5rxsmo

If no gui-fx is found on HDD or SD card, it will ask you if you want to install it (internet connection necessary).
It will create the right and complete folder structure (new in RC8) and will download GUI-FX into the right place. (on usb or SD card).

If you still want to start if from HBC, then use this version please: GUI-FX_1.0-RC8.rar 488.16 KB http://ul.to/m8ztpr
corrected version, B doesn't return from home screen anymore.

    Channel-Forwarder-Installer video - easy!

    Usage:

    on covers screen:
Home to get to home menu (to exit loader or enter config screen)
    +/- to change pages
    A to start game
B (or 1 for wii guitar) to enter game info screen

    on game info screen:
    A to start game
2 to redownload cover / refresh it from internet
Home to get to home menu (to exit loader or enter config screen) - this way you can select game to be disallowed starting on config screen

    on home menu:
    Wii menu - reboot console
Loader - exit to Homebrew Channel - only if started that way or it will code dump
Configure - pointing to it, press A+B, the wiimote will vibrate, press 1+2 and the config screen will show up.

    Config screen:
    cover type: classic or 3D
    aspect ratio: 4:3 or 16:9
font color: green, yellow, blue, red, black
blocked games: allow, temporary and deny - it will allow, temporary allow (current session only) or deny access to games selected to be blocked.
config access: allow, deny - allow makes A button acces the config screen, deny - you will have to push A+B then 1+2 to access config screen.

if you enter config screen from info screen, you will get an extra button:
current game: allow, deny - meaning that current game is allow to play at all times, deny - will be denied access when "blocked games" is set on deny.

Missing covers: will download all covers missing
Force all: will force download covers for all games
Update GUI-FX: will update GUI-FX online

    Customizing the loader:
    - background image is loaded from \gui-fx\theme\bg.png (640x480px) if found
    - "no cover" image is loaded from \gui-fx\theme\nocover.png (160x224px) if found
    - cursor image is loaded from \gui-fx\theme\cursor.png (60x60px) if found

    Have fun with it!

Screemer, I just ran away from that thread because it was too crowded.
Anyway those are just modded Loaders, I am starting a completely new GUI here.

It will have only the covers, no other option besides game launching.
Implementing some codes to get to install/uninstall menu is in my mind but not a priority at the moment.

PS: I just added moving page change to left/right with + and - buttons.

i like your approach. especially the side transition looks nice at the moment. but it would be nice if you can implement an options menu to enable/disable stuff like ocarina, vidmode patching and other stuff already implemented into the source of usb loader by other people around here. for me the most complete version right now is the one wiishiizza put together. actually it's a collection of all mods out there. right now nearly everything is integrated, except ocarina is not working properly.

Screemer, noted! It will surely incorporate them.

purechaos996 it's just a demo GUI now. The real thing will follow.

i like this so far, only thing im not too big on, is when you are over one of the images, the cover gets a lot bigger, doesnt look right to me, images are already large enough i think, thats just my opinion tho, keep it up mate.

Hey maybe you can make the images smaller to fit more per page. Or maybe you just move it from side to side fading out on one side and coming in thre the other side and back.

    But pretty good so far.

    Look at this
    http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showto...t&p=1892005
it's not a modded launcher, it's a new working GUI which actually starts games...
What you did is a nice GRRLIB demo, but integrating the code which reads and starts games will be the real work.
Your GUI seems to run good, but why do you always use the same image? What about a few different images to show it's beauty? Does it already read the images from SD or are they integrated?

wow now this has promise if it truly is just concentrating on loading games (not the cheats) this could be an advantage most of the loaders made cannot force region on Tutsunoco vs capcom on a pal machine or say load rogue troopers on a NTSC machine because the loaders worry about ocarina not forcing region so it will work on ANY tv (not everyones is HD after all and who wants to play a game in black and white? ok maybe madworld hahaha

nice work it looks gr8 subscribed to your youtube and rated [IMG]

    @mousex
I can answere your questions if u don't mind.
    1. It's the same image because it's the 1st demo of this GUI.
    2. Ok. That's already been done.
    3. Images are read from SD card.

I've just tested maddoc's gui and recorded the vid that is posted by maddoc on youtube.

its nice but it only shows 6 games at a time. i like having 21 games displayed at a time with the 1.1s ones.

I second that! I mean, we could use + and - buttons to zoom in or out to show 3, 6,...or 21 covers on the screen^^

Really, this "Graphic USB Loader" is my favouritr on the idea to create a Itunes Cover Flow...Keep it going [IMG]

Looks great...care to do something like this:
(All made by me...I could do the Graphics [IMG])
? It's Coverflow from Mac, and many people want this...and the others (Mousex, etc..) said, they won't do this for noe...and you look like you would be able to do this... Sources for Coverflow-Copies would be many avaiable (Flash, C, etc...), and it looks so great, and it's nice to browse with [IMG]...

Oh, and I think you should join the others...working together is always nice [IMG], please...do it [IMG]

[IMG] Just need to write it & it's done^^ it'sMagic! You're Blue-K, the others (Mousex, etc..) are making also very good job on the options side ( Pal_Ntsc system, ocarina, kind vers., ...)!

We can then really join the 2 parts!

Assuming you still want to do it the way you were already doing it?

EDIT: Reflection wouldn't probably be too hard to make too.. Flip over the cover and add premade gradient.png on top.
