The .png file doesn't appear, but this file worked. How can I get the others to work?

Help mee
You might have tried emugen by now as others have suggested above, but just in case you haven't, here's what to do to get amiigo to generate images.

I'm not sure if this step is 100% necessary but I couldn't get the config file to show up without it, so: first, open the amiigo app on your Switch, navigate to Settings, and change one of the settings by clicking on them. I would recommend changing the first one to "Save to game name" (only because that's what someone said to do before). Then exit and plug your SD card into your computer.

Starting from the root of your SD, go to config --> amiigo --> settings.json. Open that json file in something like Notepad—in it, there should be a line that says "saveAmiiboImages":false, and you need to change that "false" to "true". Then save and go back to your Switch.

Every time you download an Amiibo you need to be connected to the internet, otherwise the images won't download, so make sure you're blocking Nintendo's servers. After you've downloaded the amiibos (you'll need to redownload any previous amiibos so the images generate), you just need to do my previous steps and they should work. Let me know if you have any issues!

Edit: Another thing you could do if this doesn't work for you or alternatively if you're uncomfortable connecting to the internet on your Switch is: in the same folder as the settings.json file, there should be an API.json file. Open that up in Notepad or whatever you use, use the search function to find the Amiibo you want, and there should be a URL for the image of that amiibo. Follow the URL, download the image, and then put it in that specific amiibo's folder in emuiibo/amiigo. You also need to rename the image to "amiibo" for it to work.

Hi guys. Sorry for the late response. I have been going through intensive job interviews for a hedge fund. If I get it it will 2x - 3x my current salary so that has been taking all of my priority.

I will release a fix tonight. I was also going to add a feature to fix any incorrectly generated Amiibos which is why I hadn't released the fix earlier, but I just don't have time to do this and want to get a working build out.

Edit: The fix has been released. Download it from GitHub or wait until it allows you to update from within the Amiigo settings menu.

You will need to delete any Amiibos generated with version 2.4.0 and recreate them with version 2.4.1. Any Amiibos created with any other version of Amiigo is fine. Only 2.4.0 was broken due to moving from ASCII to Unicode for storing Amiibo info internally.
