The package contains the source code, a PAL480i and a NTSC480i version. It patches only correctly recognized interlaced video modes to the video mode.

PS: Don't bug with with not working games, if a game doesn't work with the matching setting in my toy with video mode patches(not brute), it's no surprise it's not working on the usb loader too.

running ntsc iso on pal wii?

It's for running ntsc games in pal VIDEO MODE and vice versa. As stated before, the usb oader is region free and you can play all working games on all Wiis(except japanese games/Wiis before of the language patch you would need).

I thought the same, but when i looked at Waninkoko's blog yesterday late evening, it was online again, and the source code was there. I don't know if it was there before, i had no internet when the usb loader was released.

What do you mean? I don't understand. "vid mode patch"? You get red screen with NTSC video mode and rgb cable.

No I currently (with Waninkokos 1.1) get red screen, what I am asking is do I use this loader ONLY for games that need video mode patch, or can I use it for all games including those that need the video mode patch.

Yes it's only for people without progressive video modes, but i'm not sure if you need video mode patches for progressive video modes anyway. For PAL users it's only useful if you use a rgb cable, if not, you only need a tv that supports both pal and ntsc, which most pal tvs do. But it's more useful for ntsc users as most ntsc (non hdtv) tvs don't support pal video mode(imagine scart in UNKNOWN in the US...).
