Hacking USA 3.2 Update

Hey, I'm pretty sure I'm needlessly worrying, but I can download the 3.2 update thats available now without having to worry about it bricking my WiiKey'd system, right?

What I'm wondering is if the exploit still works. Shouldn't worry about the chips, they usually always work.

Anyone care to clear things up? Results with Zelda exploit?

Working fine with YAOSM after the update.

Working fine with Cyclowiz 3.6b after 3.2U update. I'm pretty sure it's safe.

Nothing...from what I hear its 'minor performance updates on the system level' and another person stated he could 'get a marginally better framerate in No More Heroes' (i don't believe that one)

Thanks. This is really all people should be concerned about. Chips almost always work after an update due to the nature of the chip, it being on the DVD drive and all. But this exploit could have been patched.

Also works fine with Wiikey 1.9g and I can confirm that the Zelda exploit still DOES work.

Still, I doubt that this exploit could be fixed by a system update since it's in-game. I think that only a newer version of the game could fix this.

I wounder if the 15% swap is still safe with Smash Bros at 3.2
Hm.. I'll stay at 3.1 until I get my wii chipped, do 15% and update afterwards just to make sure which should all be this saturday.
If anyone does the 15% at 3.2 let me know.

The update changes something on your DVD header. This thingie let you see the picture of the game in the Wii menu when you insert a game,

not much of a update... or is it ??

Cause there is an update on it, but it wasnt 3.2 for Japs?

It was 3.1J (maybe with some extras, because it updated on me even if i already had the firmware).

I read some people think it's a patch for the problem that was occurring in Japan with Smash Brawl... where you had to hard reset your system to make it work. Sounds logical to me.

Personally, I used the 15% trick for Brawl (J)... and I am curious if upgrading to 3.2U would mess this up at all.

There is a video of someone updating, with brawl working, on a NTSC-U wii, however, I think they may have used double channels. (100% update).

I would find the youtube video for you, but I currently cannot as my school has youtube on it's banned listings...

It allways updates even if you got a never one.
It kind of installs a little tag on your machine that it looks for or something.
Even my Paper Mario Pal asked for update with 3.1E

I had to redo the 15 percent trick to get my DL copy brawl to work again, after the update.

Edit: I'm using YAOSM 2.0 if it makes any difference.
