I have older firmware(1.23?)
I want to upgrade to new firmware
could someone tell me how?
which to download and how to upgrade it??
and I downloaded one of the firmware but the files are in chinese ...
will the firmware be in chinese?

I tried upgrading and I think I did it right..
but the zelda (usa) won't save...
also
the firmware I upgraded to don't support skin?
and the game menus are different..not like it used to be..(3d block)
I prefer the old menu type..can that be done?
can someone help please

When you start your NDS, and the Menu opens, on the right upper corner there is your version (the nevest is STABLE2.52)

And no, the menu isn't changeable...

Zelda: For Zelda you must set the save type by pressing Select+Left/Right, the savetype for zelda is FLASH 4Mbit

thanks ^^
so the zelda english version is playable?

the original 3Dmenu was better ...kkkkkkk

and would be nice if could tell me how to change..^^

could some one plz make a step by step on how to update the ngcard(or point me to one) firmware? i lookd up on the forum but only found especific problems

i wanna update so i can play zelda but im probbly screw it up

1. Plug usb writer into your nds and hook it up till an empty usb slot on pc

2. HOLD A,B,L,R + Up on your nds to put the card into flash mode
(Screen will say USB SAFE BLOCK)

3. Windows will pick up a fireline device, card is ready to be formatted

4. Extract Contents of downloaded file to a folder

5. Double click NAND_ALL.BAT will will start the firmware flash

6. After a few seconds it will be done, switch of nds and switch back on holding A,B,L,R + DOWN to format the card,

7. Windows will auto recognize the card again as a mass storage device

8. Copy xmenu.dat from extracted folder to the root of your card.

9. Card will create DSYSTEM folder at bootup

10. DONE , Your MK5, Firelinker, Flashpass or whatever other clone you are using now has dldi with write support (thanks to willsey for the guide)

Warning: Backup all your data oncard, because you need to format your card...
