they're actually NSP games should i get rid of those before updating my xci games? I just bought Sxpro trying to figure it out
You don't have to unless you plan on getting xci versions of those games since they would just take up space. I never used nsp games myself just only updates and dlc to use on xci games

STEALTH MODE!

I've been troubleshooting my router iptables rules for more than 2 hours because I couldn't get game updates to work, and then it dawned on me...
I'm f***ing pissed off now! I hate the automatically reenabled on reboot Stealth Mode so very much!!

I've got custom firewall rules, I don't need your more restrictive rules on top of that, Team Xecutor..!!!

So do you guys think I was blocked from updating DOOM because of Stealth mode? Is this easy to turn off etc?

Thanks,
M

Just an update on this, I turned off stealth mode and then connected to WiFi. I loaded DOOM up then pressed + and selected update via Internet. It then gave me a message saying I needed to do a system update :-( Is there any other way around this? I tried with Mario Tennis as well and got the same message.

Thanks,
M

This means the update is encrypted using the master key of the newer firmware.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago and, basically, unless you can learn to use the SDK (illegal to share) in order to decrypt the NSP of the update and reencrypt it using the newer master key (there is no guide on how to do this, because illegal), there is basically no way around this..!!

That is a bummer! I managed to get Mario Tennis and Mario Kart 8 updated to the latest versions by using my OFW untouched Switch with my second SX OS Switch. There is an option to update the second SX OS Switch games via a local user when it is connected to the OFW Switch which has a higher version of the game update. Now all I need to do is find someone with DOOM and get the higher version update from them ;-)

Thanks,
M
