Tested 0.50a on an Acekard2i+AKAIO(latest) and R4DS+Wood(latest).
It worked fine.
Thanks for the update, you guys have done a really great job.
Happy to hear that.

I will get rid of using malloc() in the beta version.

Mucho thanks huiminghao. You really should reconsider entering nesDS into the HB Bounty, I think it's a definite contender with all the updates and enhancements you've added.
+1

OMG! Multiplayer support already in nesDS thats so good...

Thank you so much huiminghao for all the updates not just this one, I hope you can continue to improve this. This is vey impressive stuff.

I have played solar jetman and there were a few little graphical glitches like the flame of the thruster not following the movement of the spacecraft accurately all the time and a couple of small things like that. It didnt effect gameplay and wasnt bad so hadnt mentioned it but incase you can have a look and see.

The only problem I had with previous versions was getting my head around the scaling thing. I had it set to default to no flicker. But playing megaman as example, on the title screen I first have to flick between flicker and no flicker those options before I can get the best picture... it starts up with the lower pixels of megaman blacked out so it doesnt look quite right before i do this... and I have to do this each time I start up a game.
I've been told this is me changing the screen scaling accidentally but I cannot understand. The numbers (hex thing) don't change to show its been adjusted. Is this just me not knowing how the scaling works, I admit I am not sure whats going on.

Thanks a lot and I cannot wait to start using this latest version.

about nesds.ini path, I recommend
- if(findpath(5,(char*[]){"/","/_dstwoplug/","/ismartplug/","/moonshl2/extlink/",inibuf},"nesDS.ini")){
+ if(findpath(7,(char*[]){"/","/_dstwoplug/","/ismartplug/","/moonshl2/extlink/","/_iMenu/_ini/","/_plugin_/",inibuf},"nesDS.ini")){
To support EX4 and iMenu...

I cannot imagine what happened to your DS, no one else reported it... Can you paste some pics?

OK.... If you have any new code, just send your patch file to me.

No sorry if I wasn't clear...
I meant this is amazing... oh my god it has multiplayer support! I didn't mean to shout like it had broken something.

My DS is fine and thank you huiminghao for the update and adding 2 player support. You are very kind to us all.

This guy´s a genius. Well, don´t mind me.

I think we have seen the best DS homebrew of the year. Thank you for your effort and successes!!

I think it is multiplayer support, well we can test this.

I would test it, but now none of my roms are loading
It's giving me a red screen Guru Meditation Error!
And just shows a white screen on the top screen.
It doesn't work on any of my flashcards.

you need to put the dsnes.ini in the root of your card

You have to dldi patch it before. Or use a patched (compatible with your card dldi driver) moonshell > then run moonshell > then from moonshell run the nesDS emu. It´ll patch any homebrew using the current dldi driver from your flashcard.

NESDS is not working for me, each time i try to load any game, it gives me the following screen:

Apparently... A guru is inside my flashcard... and it's meditating...

very nice job man works well on my ak2i on my dsixl. just trying to figure out all the tricks for it, found the rewind feature by accident. im not very familiar with nesds, but i will be now. is there a user guide somewhere?

wow ...huiminghao is so active with his nes project ...just crazy

You're the best man

Would be cool to have that evolution in snes DS emulators, ...for non-DSTWO flashcarts

I have tested with implementing to nesdswrap. nesds 0.50a file browser seems not working? When I select a file guru error occurs. normal version is OK? nesds r62 is just fine.

PS. as for romloader, at least less() should be replaced with strcasecmp().

One other thing I've noticed that may be relevant to those who want to try multiplayer but only have one flash card: You can load up the emulator and the game you want to play on one DS, then remove your flash card with the unit still on (the emulation will continue) then place it in the second DS, start nesDS, select the desired game and you're ready to connect
