YES!!! YES!!! Thank you so much.

Now I can play the original SMB2 in it's pure, fds form, with all the graphics and effects complete with working wind and everything.

Thank you for your hard work, once again.

Very nice! The few fds games I had were not working (black screen), but once I got them from a different source all was well

. Is there any benefit to having the bios? I'm assuming not, since it wasn't mentioned in the readme, but I went ahead and threw it in with my roms anyways.
And one other thing: In case you overlooked my previously edited message about Super Mario 2 (US), gameplay stutters every 10 seconds or so.
Keep up the great work, and good luck with the Homebrew Bounty!

You can replace the bios file 'diskbios.bin', then re-build this project...
I will test the 'stutter' thing...

Amazing work!

I just found a Zelda no densetsu fds file that works but the sound doesnt work well
some of the sounds are missing like the main tune of the title screen

It should be heared like this:

I found that DPCM sound is missing when playing FDS games (compare Doki Doki Panic to Super Mario 2 US).
I have also had some errors when switching disks or when loading.

Also, the missing sound effects in Zelda no Denetsu are because nesDS does not support the FM synthesis channel. Can you add FM support please? Thank you.

@twiztidsinz

The file is "Zelda no Densetsu - The Hyrule Fantasy.zip"

and the CRC32 its "79ACC7B8"

Its a header issue?
There is a way to fix it?

Seems FDS games are a nightmare since they save data to themselves.
To fix them, just add the "FDS............." to the ".*NINTENDO-HVC*". I got them to load, but the buttons don't respond.

HELL YEAH!

I can finally play otocky (first music game ever) and the saving version of metroid on the go!

Thanks again huminghao, few devs are as devoted as you.

Oh wow, FDS support FTW

Some sound channel is not added. Could you add that channel please and FDS Saving

The [p1] .nes hack has everything from the original .fds rom.
The only difference being that it's in .nes format instead of .fds

Doesn't work for me. The first two SMB get stuck on a light blue screen.
It's no big deal, though, since there is an official .nes version of SMB1 and the [p1] rom of SMB2 works just like the .fds image.

The Legend of Zelda prototype loads, but I can't seem to find a way to make it save correctly...

Actually I'm kinda surprised at not merging my patch this time.

My nesds patch project is over (and I feel sad at having spent time to extend nesds)...
Please just remove L+R+START+SELECT feature...

Just sorry to bother you, twiztidsinz...

Again, I never intend to get your bounty, huiminghao
Wha??

I think I missed something.

Sorry, I did not mean that... Every time you wrote a patch, I was just preparing for the next release, so your patch maybe delayed.... If I did not update nesDS for a while, I would merge your patch...
I dont care about the bounty, but to share the fun with you... In the next few months, I will stop adding new figures to nesDS, but just fixing some bugs... It will be very nice of you to contribute more code...
I know nothing about the "RESET THING", so there is no reason for me not to apply your patch. Thank you all the time....

Sorry for not contributing much to the thread, but I just love that you are taking the time to talk to the community and support NesDS. It's pretty damn awesome of you.

Sorry if it's already implemented, but could you please make it possible to switch the game screen to Ds's bottom display? I'm asking because my upper screen displays red noise for some reason, and people say it needs to be replaced for which I don't have money. And also for me it just feels better to play games on the bottom screen, it's so like in the days of GBA.

Thank you for keeping nesDS alive and making it better, huiminghao!

This can be easily done and a short-cut is needed.... If I did that, I will tell you.

Can someone upload, or pastebin a proper nesds.ini file for me? the one that came in the latest 46a (47a doesn't include the .ini file on filetemp), without word wrap in notepad is just one really long line. I need to know where the line breaks should be, etc..

Also, any word on whether or not Nobunaga's Ambition 2 can be made to work on this?
