if the Team has done a good job in the past.

And they haven't? It looks like their slow activity lately was because they worked on this new cart. It would be safe to assume that once this is launched they would be back to speed.

I think a lot of people irrationally freaking out because they bought a Supercard. The Supercard has made a lot of promises but has yet to deliver anything but poorly implemented features that half work like the ereader and emulators. TC always puts out a tight non-buggy product. I guess the thought of a product like their Supercarrd who's features work well enrages some Supercard owners.

How many times their website went down is a clear indication of the quality of the cart.

I'll agree with your main point (that the Cyclo's product will likely be more finished and less buggy than the DSTwo), but not the trolling part of it.

Yeah, funny, especially because it's true.

Since you keep talking about copying Supercard, wasn't is that RTS was first announced by TC but SC got it out faster (isn't that copying too?) but when TC got it too it was better than what SC offered? So here we go again, a high possibility that TC will offer better features and SC owners cry and come up with stupid excuses like "it's copied", because all TVs with remote control copy Zenith, isn't that right?

How slow is the SC GBA emu, how absolutely useless is the snnes emu and iReader. If TC can make a card with features like that that are polished and work well they'd have the superior card. I don't care how often their website went down. How many shitty half baked features has SC released? I wish they'd at least get the GBA emu working well before they dump the next half working emulator or ereader on us.

OzModChips, are you just speculating along with everybody else on it's features, or have they given you info on it?

I assume the second since you mention the price, but it never hurts to be sure.

The info we have is the same info everyone has, all we know extra is the price.

QUOTE(Gariscus @ Nov 4 2010, 10:19 PM) People have managed to run code in DSi Mode, no one seems to care about the DSi enough to want it fully hacked.

I think the best we got was some code injection on a game.
People will care if it came out. A decent amount of people bought the supercard because of its features, but of course the implimentation has been pretty poor. The issue is that its so hard to work with the hardware of flash cards, when you cannot get any access to the DSi consoles power. If you could have native NDS code running in DSi mod homebrew applications will become a lot more powerful.

- Access to the Sd card (no need for a micro sd card i guess, or you can have shared memory)
- Use of the GPU/CPU to process video...
- Use of the camera within homebrew. (Someone could make some cool voice chat apps, or perhaps some eyeToy style games)

They would be cool features, but the biggest thing as mentioned as it would give everyone hope of the 3Ds homebrew.

I have heard that SOME one has hacked the DSi probably. It might be the Wiikey team (DsiKey) or someone else....but apparently its done.

You got the point.

If TC will offer a better working GBA emulator, everybody will shut up and buy an iEvolution. I promise.

Even if the card costs $40 and an entire new Dingoo A320 costs $80.

I really don't think anything like that is going to happen. But I'd like to be proven wrong.

Wow, people in here are talking as if TC invented RTS. Also, a lot of trollin' hating going on towards the DSTWO. Good thing they're trolling and not talking the truth.

Most of this thread is trolling. I think we should all shut up until we see more information. It is all speculation at this point.

Who started with DSTWO in this topic and in some others ?

RTS was planned since the beginning and in beta since 2007 but who cares ?

I really appreciate the fact that TC was always listening to users suggestions by the past and I am very happy to see some good news for the next months. No hurry No offense

EDIT: Just to confirm, the new Cyclo cart WILL have an additional CPU and such?

I don't know, sorry, i was just guessing it would have similar specs to the DSi
Its going to be white only at launch, and come blank (user has to update)

So it's going to be a DSi flash cart (that runs in DS mode), will be priced almost the same as the original Cyclo, will come in just white at launch, and will come blank?

Well, how will users who have a DSi/XL at 1.4 or later flash it?

Either that's something they overlooked when handing out the initial info, or it's going to have some way to boot itself, either via cable, or an addon chip?

Updater module
Okay, then why don't you tell me what that is and how it works?

Is it something that goes into the microsd slot and magically gives it the update?
Is it something you plug the cart into (like a fake DS) to allow it to run the update?
Is it something that would plug into some sort of port on the card?
