LOL I hear ya. Exact same problem here. And I'm right. The game is wrong. Literally. It must be a bug or something.

i figured it out turn the knob left 3 times as if the clock was turning back to 9am then turn it right 4 time so that it would be 1pm it works.

Thanks, I couldnt figure that one out either, i kept turning to the 9 o'clock area then 1 'o clock area.
