Mine has the same problem.

One option is to open it up and fix the spring (Probably the issue), the second problem (And safer) is to attempt to fix it from the outside.

I believe if you're under warranty you should be able to take it to be fixed (For general wear-and-tear) with no problem.

I've never sent mine in, mostly because I'm not sure how long they'd take, and I don't want to be a week or so without my DS, because I play it almost daily.

My brother and mother also both have DS's of their own, but borrowing theirs would mean they'd be without one for a while, and they play almost as frequently.

When my friend suggested it i didn't thought she meant just to blow on it not like that
I tried with a vacuum just now (the exhust end) and that totally screwed it up xD
Then your suggestion fixed it

I tried that myself on mine, and it seems like a temp fix, for instance every few hours I find myself blowing into it again to use it.
