I was thinking of buying an unofficial wiimote, would it work with dolphin bar? Is dolphin bar still the only way to use a sensor on PC?

Don't wanna lug the Wii around. Will a generic usb sensor bar work?

A generic sensor bar is fine, for use with a Wii. Hardly anything that can go wrong in the manufacturing of those. But the DolphinBar also has support for the Bluetooth that Wiimotes use. And I'm not sure how you'll power a generic sensor bar since they have the proprietary Nintendo connector.

But for the love of Dog, don't get an unofficial Wiimote. It has even more problems with Dolphin than it does with a real Wii. They are not good value choices. In fact I'd rather buy a real one and pay shipping than walk out to my front lawn and pick up a new in the box fake Wiimote. They're pretty worthless and frustrating.
