I keep getting an error trying to download the patch from the “here” link. ☹️

I wanna try this on TWLoader, and I do have a legit copy of it(Jap only) on NDS, but don’t care much for the Japanese text. Good game, but don’t like to guess my way around whatever the Mii Apartment tenants are saying. Same for guessing the sillouhettes(which I rarely get correct in three tries while most times never do).

PM me.
Strange. No error for me. What's the error?

Okay. I've followed tons of forums on how to patch the xdelta, and nothing is working. I'm at the mercy of asking to have the actual final product of the English Patch with Anti-Piracy be sent via email and PM'd. I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong? And have been spending nearly 7 hours screwing around with all this.

I need a miracle or a better Xdelta patcher. And yes, I've used everything from the UI, to GUI, to MOD version, to the one from shutterbug2000's link(which strangely let me download that over the xdelta file in the earlier posts.

*dazed and mind-boggling zombification*

I'm just about drained thinking too hard into this. Hopefully, I'll be refreshed to try again...??????

I think you need to to put the output in a different folder and/or have xdelta open. The reason it causes an win sum check error is there is a file at the same folder as the other three sections. In fact, If you put the source, patch, and output in the same folder or the other way around, then you'll get an error. I first got an error, but if i put it in different folders, then it'll work. If not, i don' know what's wrong.

Ohhhh. Okay. Now I see where I went wrong. I’ll try it as soon as I can. Right now, I’m mobile and have an afternoon shift to pull. Plus, on iOS(no jailbreak) and don’t have a patcher for it. I’ll see what the result is as soon as I can. Forgot to mention, I am on Windows 10. So hopefully this set up will do the job.

Okay. I can conclude that NOTHING has worked. I followed the steps you gave me, even on another forum relating to going through EFE and DSLazy(or whatever related to replacing ARM9), put files in seperate folders......nothing.

I tried doing a test with creating a patch, and using that to patch another TC file, and that worked. But not the AP patch from shutterbug nor Lyrin. I'm just gonna have to admit defeat.

And if you are wondering what the error message was this time "bad magic number. not valid xdelta."

If ya still have a rom of it, just PM me. I hate to ask, but I've tried, Real Abbynip...and still nothing. I failed :(

I really wish I could get this working on TWLMenu, then I could finally take this god forsaken R4 out of my DSi.

Hi, i have a problem with AP Patching with this translation. it works well in r4 but in Twilight Menu ++ for the DSi, you cant play the game well. It freezes when the mii creation tool will open for the first Time.

Sorry for kind of digging up an old grave, but i have the same checksum rom as the jjjewel, but can't find the AP patch for my TWL++, and the second link Sophie-bear provided is working me as both the Eng/AP patch, but unfortunately that's not the final version of translation and sometimes it acts really wonky. Does anyone have an AP patch for the same checksum as the original it was intented for, or AP/ENG combined patch with the final version of the translation?

Direct me to the patch I should be using and I'll see if I can make an updated combined patch. I just used the one from the OP...

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
