ROM Hack Undubbing roms-small problem

There are a few roms I want to undub, so I looked up the basics using the mighty search button and found this topic full of helpfull info + a mini-tutorial from psycoblaster http://www.gbatemp.net/lofiversion/index.php/t110907.html

I tried undubbing Bleach Dark Souls first using crystaltile2, and after extracting all the (J) sound files, loading up the (E) rom on crystaltile and importing the sdat files I found that some chars simply wouldn't rewrite. End result was 80% undubbed rom with around 6-9 chars still using english dubbing. Chars like Uryuu, Kukaku, Soifon, Renji etc...

The ones that failed gave me some kind of pop-up with a code something like 7FF8BD. Is there a way to get around that?

Perhaps the new files were bigger than the old ones? Instead of using crystaltile2, unpack the whole thing with dslazy/dsbuff and copy over the files.
