Okay I've got a 1000 and I'm on 5.50 Gen d3 I have pops loader enabled and a psx EBOOT in the right folder but the file is always corrupted and will never work no matter what I do. Any help on this?

I can get the snes emu on my psp to start up and it turn a greyish white color and then quickly fades to black. It freezes here and never makes progress.

For the GBA emu it starts up fine and nothing seems to be working but it will not alow me to use any buttons. But I know that's all that's wrong because the clock is still ticking. Im just stuck at choosing a rom.

All of these files are up to date and I've changes the file locations just to see if this would work. I'm out of options. I need your help. Did I mess up the firmware?

You say they are in the right folder, but are you sure? name the folders, and also you might be using the wrong type of homebrew (thats written for firmware 1.00 insetad of 1.50 or something like that)
give more info and we might figure this out.. also what is the psx file called.

I haven't tried any ISO's and I have updated to Prometheus -2 before but downgraded to Gen-3D because nothing worked on -2.

I put the files in psp/game/ and from here I put them in the appropriate order. I'm using 1.00. The name of the game? Resident evil directors cut.

OR

psp/game/gamefolder/eboot.pbp

Yeah PSP/GAME/Gamefolder/EBOOT.PBP will work.

but you might also want to try this

Completely turn your psp off ( not just sleep, hold the power button till it goes off).
Then hold the R button and turn the psp on, when you get into the recovery menu, goto configuration.
and check if ''Game Folder homebrew'' is to 5.xx (that is what i am using) instead of 1.50

Also UMD mode has to be ''Sony MP9660 -NO UMD-''
(I find that the best umd option, and every or almost every psp will run that way(if you got problems with those))

Snes emu goes in the same forlder PSP/GAME/Emufoldername/here goes all data n rom folders n stuff
just make sure it's 1.50 homebrew and not 1.00 !!

Q - How do I run homebrew?
A - Homebrew will be named EBOOT.PBP and should be inside their own folder in /PSP/GAME/ like so.
/PSP/GAME/(homebrew name here)/EBOOT.PBP
/PSP/GAME/Youtube Something 1.1 RTA/EBOOT.PBP
/PSP/GAME/Cave Story/EBOOT.PBP
/PSP/GAME/Random Porn Game v28/EBOOT.PBP

No need to be sarcastic. I read those instructions. Funny I don't see anything called GAME FOLDER in those directions.

Do exactly this....

Connect up your PSP USB connection to your PC.
Navigate to the root of the PSP memory stick.
Double Click on the PSP folder that is in that initial cluster.
Double Click on the GAME folder that is in the next group. Not GAME 5.xx, nor any other one...just GAME.
Create a folder called REDC in the game folder.
PUT JUST THE EBOOT.PBP of resident evil there.

DO EXACTLY THAT...don't use anything else.

So it would take exactly 3 steps to see the pbp file (from the root you'd click on PSP folder, GAME folder and then the REDC folder you made and there's the eboot.pbp of your game.)

Take some screenshots of your MS hierarchy....you've not done everything right if it's not working.
