I was looking for MicroSDs in stores, when I found this:

XD, as you can see; the 1GB cost more than the 2GB.

Might this be a typo, or not?

Its just the way the pricing system works. There are alot of variables that you don't see, and probably wouldn't make sense to you.

If you look around, things like this are fairly common.

in Australia you can a 2 liter bottle of coke for around $1... and you can get a can of coke 375ml for about $2.... the only difference being that the can is chilled and the bottle isn't.

Yeah it's good for the company to price something higher than then the higher product. Makes perfect sense for Sandisk.

Get the 2 gig!!! I've seen two 2 gig SD's at BestBuy and places like that sell, for like, 30 bucks and a single 1 gig cost about 35 to 40ish. Wtf.

Yeah you should get the 2 gig but not from there here's better prices from a reliable store:

Sandisk 2gb MicroSD

Kingston 2gb MicroSD

Whichever you want, Sandisk or Kingston, both for around $25 shipped!

I ordered a 1 gig Sandisk from here, and I really TRUST this store, they shipped it for free in less than a week!

Well if the 2 on the kingston 2gb microsd really bothers you, then you can just get 2 1gb's for even less at meritline:

Well once again if you think it is fake, which it probably isn't considering no one ever talked about getting a fake microsd in the resellerratings reviews that were "very dissatisfied," then once again go to the forum I pointed to and buy from buy.com before the deal closes!
