Off topic: Did everyone here take idiot pills today?
My doctor prescribed them.
Thats explains your problem, but I think everyone else has been stealing some of my wifes supply of idiot pills. Too bad she still has a cupboard full of 'stupid douchebag' pills to keep her going for the rest of my miserable life.

LOL

if the OP is actually american, then they need to work on using their words. because this isn't making any sense.

i would assume that the wii was not bought on launch, or if it was, it was updated at some point to a firmware that patched boot2.

as far as getting sneek to autoboot, it's still very easy and do-able with priiloader. OP obviously doesn't have the experience that they claim.

i've seen that it helps to copy ppcboot.elf from the real bootmii folder into sneek's bootmii file. i guess by seen, i mean that it worked for me when i modded an in-law's black wii with uneek+di.

There is no firmware update or anything that can prevent bootmii from being installed to boot2 if the wii has a vulnerable boot1. Also, if you are going to dis some american for not speaking correctly, you should at least make sure you don't have the american flag under your name and also you should make sure that you are using correct grammar yourself. Here I will italicize all your above mistakes for you.... so nearly the whole thing.

capitalization isn't grammar. grammar is strictly about the words in a sentence or phrase and how they are structured. my use of "they" is correct since it is commonly used as a gender neutral term. i did use the correct "their," as in the possessive. as far as the "guess by seen," i was simply typing the way that i talk, which could be construed as grammatically incorrect. so congratulations, you pointed out ONE grammatical error.

i also didn't "diss" (it is spelled with two s's) that he wasn't speaking correctly. i was commenting on the fact that no one actually knows what his situation is because he sucks balls at explaining himself. see, right there i assumed the OP was a male and used gender-specific identifiers. trying to stay gender neutral is tough.

and while i'll admit to being wrong about the relationship between updates and boot2, i'll also note that you didn't take issue with the entire second half of my post.

basically, all you had to do was point out that i was wrong about boot2, and we'd still be civil. but no. you decided that i had offended you in some way, and made a sad attempt to attack me.

next time you want to attack someone, it would really help if you had a leg stand on. since you were only right on 1 out of 11 grammatical errors and you had no clue what i was "dissing" the OP about (a word that you screwed up). and if you attack grammar, please make sure that your post is grammatically correct. that sentence with your misspelled diss and comments about my american flag is a train wreck. it at least needs a semicolon, but should probably be broken into two sentences.

i mean, it's great that you know as much as you do about wiis and that you use your infectus to help people fix theirs, but pull the rod out of your butt and climb down off of your pedestal.

Chillax homeslice. I only said anything because of your first sentence. The fact that the OP does not have a clue of what he is talking about is alright because I at least understood what he thought he knew. Unfortunately, I did feel offended by the way you spoke to him and I was merely just trying to point out the fact that none of us (actually I was pointing out that YOU) are not perfect either.

As far as the word 'dis' or 'diss', the spelling as 'diss' shows up as an incorrect spelling which makes sense because when you 'dis' someone it means that you 'disrespected' them. And last time I checked 'disrespect' only has one 's' immediately following the 'i'.

By the way, a more gender neutral way of speaking of a single person is by saying "this person" or "that person", at least then it is correct that you are referring to only one person.

But, now this is just getting funny. Good game man. I enjoyed it

Sheesh, guys! You're all grown-up men, don't go around making this again, I hate having to trash and/or edit posts

No personal attacks or namecalling, and please, don't judge someone by the grammar. That is the recipe for a clean and peaceful forum.

See ya

The problem is that there weren't any hacks/exploits on the launch day (in 2006). BootMii was released to the public in 2009.

Nintendo had fixed the bug in boot1 a long time before bootmii was released:

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Boot1

"Some time in 2008, Nintendo fixed the strncmp bug in boot1 for newly-manufactured Wiis, preventing boot2 from being modified by e.g. BootMii. "

It was pretty well documented that even wii's up to a year old when bootmii came out couldn't have boot2 fake signed.

to my knowledge. black wii's didn't come out on "launch date". they came out couple of years ago.
so before the "black wii's"were released. they had already fixed boot1 an boot2. so the only thing OP can do, is put bootmii at ISO. an get over it.

But Team Twiizers announced that BootMii was to use the bug in boot1 back in 2008.

I was just saying that BootMii was released in 2009, not implying in which date Nintendo fixed the bug in Boot1 (heck, even I know that, my Wii is from early 2008 and I have BootMii as Boot2 present on it). As some users said before, the OP is a mess explaining himself; it seems that he believes this supposed "launch day" was the day when he bought his console, and taking into account that he's talking about a black Wii, then this is technically imposible.

At first I really thought his Wii was a launch day console (because he didn't mention that it was black in the first post); that's precisely the reason I asked him if he sent the console to repairs in the past. I apologize if you misunderstood any of the posts I made (as you may already seen, my mother tongue is Spanish, not English).

lol, yeah I tried that already several times...since modmii doesn't include the ppcboot.elf file after you have it set up sneek. I did the soft-modding when twilight princess for wii was released back in 06, not sure what that other guy was talking about but soft mods where out for wii long before 09, but I'm not here to get into a bitching contest about when soft modding started thats what googles for lol. I'm simply here to get and answer as to how to boot SNEEK through priiloader? and heres my system check:

IOS System Check

My System Check

Sorry I figured I'd just up them as Downloads since ppl keep asking for them, not sure how you'd open the csv file.

No dude, the twilight hack wasn't released until 2008 and the warez loaders started about 6 months later. If you "clearly" remember buying a launch day wii and installing hacks on it as soon as you took it out of the box you might want to get your head checked out, 'cause those memories ain't real.

BootMii is not a softmod. And it really was released in 2009.

1. Install Priiloader, and make sure you have BootMii as IOS (IOS254) present. Also, verify you have the SNEEK files in your SD card.
2. Load it by using the MagicWord application by Daco, or just use the RESET button while booting up your console.
3. Choose "BootMii IOS".
4. ?????
5. Profit.

If you want to automatically boot your console to SNEEK, then go to the Priiloader Settings menu and set the "Autoboot" option to BootMii IOS.

As DeadlyFoez said before, you system check isn't going to help at all.

YOU HIGH!!" I did the soft-modding when twilight princess for wii was released back in 06".
the black wii's were not launched until. UK,October 20th, 2009. an the US market until december of 2009.(or shortly after.)
so unless you are color blind, or fried your drinking the bong water. you did not get the wii on the actual launch day. as far as using ZELDA hack, if it was a launch date, BANNERBOMB. would have been easier.
google rocks!
