After I installed the cheats and even used an editor to remove every game to make sure the cheat shows up when I'm trying to play the game (Yugioh 5Ds 2009) and choose the cheats it doesn't work. Did I do something wrong or did I neglect to do something?

Also, I tried converting a sav from gamefaqs to use for my game, and it just acts as if there was no game to begin with...like I HAVE to choose new game. Did I do something wrong in the conversion or choose the wrong conversion type?

I use N5DS firmware on my R4 Revolution for DS.

Is it that no one knows what to do or did I not clarify? I read the FAQs (some of which have outdated links to editors, etc.)...I'm just needing some clarification or steering in the right direction.

If anyone's reading, I've just reformatted my microSD card (again), put on the N5DS firmware, added YSmenu, edited the cheats to JUST have codes for Yugioh 2009, and it's just still not working. I'll try one of the game saves again from gamefaqs...-_-;

Is a little assistance too much to ask?

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
