Hacking Trouble upgrading a PSP 1000 running vers3.52 M33 to 6.61

HI i have purchased some PSP 1000 models for my grandkids. One is on version 3.52 M33 and when i try and install the 6.60 or 6.61 versions all i get is the DADADADA message.

Does anyone know how I can get the models upgraded and where I can find the files needed?

There may be a better method now but this should still work.

Update to 3.52 M33-4, then to 3.71 M33. Once you're on 3.71 M33 you can update to 6.61 OFW as normal.

Another way is to use the pandora battery method and use that to install 1.50 OFW or whatever.

I'm not sure where to find those files anymore, to be honest. Maybe someone else can point you in the right direction.

Just install infinity. https://infinity.lolhax.org/

It's possible there is a plugin enabled to stop the firmware from updating via the system update thingy, might wanna check that
