I've heard the word "trolling" or "troll" on this Forum a lot, but since this is the first Forum where I am really active, I don't know what trolling is. Could someone explain it to me? Because I don't want to troll accidentally.

Real trolling tends to get removed, or it gets a thread locked if too many people reply.

Trolling is when someone posts, or says something to get the absolute worst responses. Whether it is the most controversial stance of a subject, ignorance, personal attacks, or just plain stupidity. The statements and stuff are all made purposely and with no intention of furthering the discussion. Kinda like topics about religion, politics, or [un]important topics currently discussed elsewhere. Trolling however should never be thrown around between two people with differing opinions, because generally the troll is only trying to derail everyone and [almost] never one person.

No, that's normal forum stuff.

The trolling version would be making a thread titled "GAYS CAN BURN IN HELL" with a first post consisting of nothing but more insults. That's a thread specifically designed to incite anger.

Just because somebody's talking about something you don't want to talk about doesn't mean it's trolling.

Suffice to say he was given as many chances to change [or at Least tone it down]. Then one day, on a heated discussion thread, Dave [IIRC] sent him packing back to troLLopoLis... I think he [Dave] said something akin to "Since Naruto Freak contributes nothing of vaLue to this forum, he is now banned. I win!"
