Something seems to have gone wrong. Now when I launch a game from triiforce the game launches but the wiimote always loses sync, Previously was ok on v9. Then I switched to 10b and it started. Reverted back to v9 but still the same.. damn

try re-synching (first pulling out the batteries from all remotes) the remotes. I had those issues with HBC at times and other applications.....

re. your other problem, try using a fresh bootmii nand dump, extract the contents using showmiiwads, and try again....

I am trying to use ShowMiiWads to extract a bootmii nand dump but it keeps saying it can't open an app file (which exists on the SD card but is 0kb in size)

Anyone got any ideas ?

how can downloading images work when 10b doesnt work on cios 18 & 19 and wireless only works on 18 and above?
Wifi does not work in NAND emulation mode, in order words, only when you are playing a title. They are different things.

I tried that a few times on v9 and 10b. Still didn't work. Then I re-dumped the NAND this time using full (was on minimal) and back to normal...

It show me the following msg when loading

My sim-nand is original 4.2u built by the following method
QUOTE1. Download IOS30 v1040 with NUSD, make sure you decrypt it and pack a .wad
2. Download System Menu 3.2X (what ever version Wii you have) with NUSD, decrypt it and pack a .wad
3. Open ShowMiiWads
4. Create a blank folder on desktop (I named mine "Scratch 3.2U NAND")
5. Click on Options -> Change NAND backup path. Select the folder you just created.
6. Click View -> ShowMiiNAND (the program is now called "ShowMiiNand")
7. Drag the two .wad files you downloaded through NUSD to ShowMiiNand.
8. At the bottom click install
9. copy your setting.txt from an actual dump to the title/00000001/00000002/data folder that was created in your "blank folder"
10. copy the four folders: title, ticket, sys, shared1 to the root of whatever device you are going to be using to host your NAND.
11. Launch SNEEK/UNEEK and it will be as if it is the first time you started your wii (in reality it is, and you may have to wait a couple minutes the first time you boot it up this time only)
12. Update through System Update
13. Voila, a scratch made NAND

All wiiware can be run at uneek (sneek with usb)

Another question is that ocarina code can be only read in sd with v9 , but it might don't work at all with v10b, whatever in sd:/code or usb:/code, it always return "Cannot read fat:/code/xxxx.gct", where the path "fat:/" refer to?

I tried looking up uneek and Sneek+DS (or something like that) this morning but couldn't find much real info. All that I found was the google code repository and some articles here and elsewhere detailing how to compile it. While I can surely handle that, what I really want to know is what is it!?

Can someone reply with a link to a REAL FAQ (or WIKI, or something) that tells a layman what it is, the quick way to install it (I.E. is compiling it required?), how it differs from sneek (and Triiforce mrc), and what is broken or still in development?

I tried reading over the posts I found and Google repository but got lost in the bug reports and such...

TIA!

Also, is there a limit to the number of games Triiforce mrc will show? I have hundreds of WADs installed and I've noticed the newest ones I added with showmiiwads aren't there in Triiforce! They seemed to install fine, Triiforce is just ignoring them (or something)...

I installed the Mega Man 10 DLC to my emulated nand and i noticed the menu takes alot longer to load, everything still works, and it use to load slower than usual but now it seems to have gotten worse. A cios issue or something that can fix this?

not sure if this right thread but, how do u convert real wii saves to triforce saves or other way round?
data.bin > savefile.dat or vice versa?

data.bin > savefile.dat or vice versa?
If you create your NAND dump with the saves installed, then your NAND dump should have these saves.

If not, you can use FE-100 to decrypt the data.bin.

thx marc_max

i tried EF100 to repack a save from showmiiwad, but just crashes when hit the pack save button. unless i set up wrong?

I don't know

You should check if your keys are correctly added. I extracted them with xyzzy and it worked for me.
If not, you should ask to FE-100 authors on their topic: http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=123406

I've used FE-100 on many, many saves and it has never failed once. Either your keys are wrong or you are missing a required file. iirc it tells you if you are missing the required files so I'll guess marc's right and you've not got the keys correctly.

...been trying to find a solution in this and other forums...

using Triiforce MRC (same for MRC SS), i can't read enough of the bottom line of text to read what the options are; is there a fix for this?

launch from SD; NAND on HDD

4.2U; hermes v5; cios v17; bootmii as boot2

Try a different TV, it sounds like your TV has a bit of overscan - is the text cut off or are you unable to read it?
