Just saw that "Dutch" translation of from the abyss, the screenshot that is provided had horrible grammar and only half of it was translated. The link to the patch is also dead, so I can't take a look at the game, but the translation isn't complete at all, and I even think that this is just google translated.

As you can see the in this screenshot: the bottom half has some English sentences: "(...)prosper like none before them. Some attribute this to the queens, while others point to the serenity of the region as the cause." This screenshot also has some horrible grammar "kleine" must be "klein", "Deze" (these) must be "dit" (this), "geheerst" is literally translated from ruled, "vrede-lievende" musn't have a dash.
Where's Nanashi no GAME? I saw a few topics trying to translate it. (Can't find them, were they deleted?)
I mean, it's not even impossible to translate it (you can stop fucking whining now, whoever you are who spread that rumor).....
Because, as far as I know, there are no active translation projects or projects with released patches for that game, and I even used the Search button to look for some when the last thread asking for a patch came up.
And I know nothing about how easy or hard the game is to translate.

There are only maybe a select few games even being translated, ash archaic, tales of innocence, summon night x (believe it when the patch comes out), cross treasure (barely any dialogue), Tales of hearts (game menu!!!), and SaGa (Monster names and menus). I am sick of these people asking for translations when in reality games arent really being translated right now because there really aren't dedicated translators.

While I'm sick of people asking for translation, I'm also sick of people complaining about translators. You're not helping by going around criticizing translators as "not working hard enough". Quite frankly you're acting like an ass, saying that translators aren't "dedicated". Guess what, these are independent, part-time projects people do as a hobby. This isn't their job. They have a life to manage. You're lucky we get high quality translations like ASH, Tales, Soma Bringer, Jump, etc.
I'll say this again: make a translation or shut up. You need to be in the club to criticize it. I don't criticize translations (outside of flaming a few of the Pokemon ones because they got hectic and pointless), so you shouldn't either. I have a feeling you came here only to bitch and moan about translations on every fucking translation related thread you can find, since that's where I find you time after time. Sure, you praise people who are working on full translations, but you're criticizing people for not releasing a patch quick enough or abandoning a project for a different one.
I'm sick of you and your useless complaining. I suggest you learn some common respect or you won't get any from me or the translators who you're constantly bashing.
Honestly I dont care when a patch is translated. I was trying to explain to the poster before why the games he wants arent translated. Facts are facts, there are very few dedicated translators, by dedicated I mean has the time to do work.... by the way I dont like people abandoning projects just like when I am working I wouldnt like someone abandoning me on the job... its just my nature. I wouldnt take these comments so personal.
Great job on the new translation index compilation. I was just wondering if it might be possible to make the first topic more like War's original thread and split up the projects in to 3 different sections: Active Translations (Open), Active Translations (Closed), and Finished Translations.
I may do that at some point, but for now I like the alphabetical organization more, because it allows people tracking a specific game translation to find it more easily.
