Today I was playing ToS: Dawn of a New world when suddenly audio started to get choppy, then all of a sudden, it sounded like something "snapped" inside the wii (I suppose the disc stopping abruptly) and a few seconds later my Wii sent me the read error.
I restarted and tried to load it again but the Wii makes 3 "skipping" sounds (like when reading loading data) and stops, and now can't read any disk! not even originals!
I tried the Wiigator loader, and even through the normal Game Channel and I get the same 3 "ticks" and the unable to read disk message.
Now I read on another thread that the problem may dissappear if I let my Wii rest for some days but I'd like to know if anyone of you has found a solution to this intriguing problem.
