So this is a little off-topic, but the reason I ask here is because some people have a lot of info about how the Joycons work. I'm curious about the Joycon slots connection. Basically I took a Hori Left joycon and put it on the right slot of the switch and nothing worked. Hori works fine on the left. That little connector that slides into the switch tells the console what is connected. Does this connector know the difference between a official joycon and a hori? I kinda wanna buy a broken Right Joycon and a new Hori and try to mix them both, using a right joycon slot thing connected to the PCB of a left Hori through the ribbon cable. But idk enough info... maybe that can brick the console? The official joycon has about 3-4 ribbon cables whereas the Hori has like 2, I assume the extras are for rumble and wireless. Anyone have some secret info or know where I can get this info? I can't find much about it online but the fact that my left Hori plugged into the Right joycon slot didn't cause any adverse affects and nothing worked when pressing buttons, something tells the console that it should ignore it
You should make a new treath. However, it will not fit.

hello, I'd need a dump frm an old version of th joycons SPI for I got a second hand one with issues and I think it's software related, so flashing it back could do the trick. regards.

I think your best bet would be setting up an install of Windows with Boot Camp (https://support.apple.com/boot-camp) and then installing it on there. You can find a guide on how to do so here (https://bit.ly/2Mv4gGN), note that even though it says it's for Mac mini the instructions are the same for all Macs.

Hello, I don’t have any switch right now but I’ve seen both of the videos I only wanted to ask because I’ll get one next year : does changing the colors make the game glitch ? Or something like that ? I’m afraid that if I try something like this it will damage it... :/

Thanks for anyone who will answer me!
