No, 1.3 backups are OK.

Even though I don't see how this can mess with your buttons I need 2 things from you:

1. Where the buttons do not work? Windows or Switch?
2. Make a SPI backup with the latest version and send it to me via PM
Well I need to reach the bottom of this.
Maybe I have a bug somewhere.

The good thing is that everything that is writable is only used by switch.
That means that no matter the data, the joyCons will always connect and be fixed by restoring a backup.

Don't worry for now.
thanks a lot, I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried! i will reply to this with the back up before it messed up made on v1.3 and the backup with is going now made with v1.5 after it stopped working. hope this is good.

Well I hope you get your JoyCon fixed..... Don't worry though, @CTCaer is an expert. Your JoyCon is in good hands lol.

Nice! I was going to tell you that I need the first backup also.
I can't find the pm button. where is it, just finished the second backup so I should have everything you need. it is also approaching midnight in my time zone so I may have to go but I will do my best to give you everything you need first. Once again thanks.

Click his profile name ( @CTCaer ) and click "Send PM" iirc.

Everytime you connect the joy-con to Switch, you need to pair it again in windows.

Remove the device from Windows Settings or Devices and Printers and then hold sync and pair it again.

i done it but it says there was a controller problem .-.

Normally a re-plug and then re-pair fixes this.
But 2 times that happened to me, it wanted me to remove the joycon device from Devices and Printers and do a restart.
I also have a BT USB adapter.

ok i will do the 2 things i will say you if it doesnt work

nope it didnt work D:

When my app says that there's a problem, it means that it can't find the controller.
This is either because it is not connected or because of bt hid input drivers problem.

hid input drivers maybe.... but only with the left joycon after doing a color change, right joycon works good *because i didnt change the color(

Whaaat now works .-. Thx in advice xD

It's the disconnect, switch pair, windows pair that breaks it.
And it's very common in Windows 7.

The drivers installation finishes? or stays forever?

It stayed forever, but i connected him to internet and it finished, also, what colors i cant put on joycons?

Also why when i do a spi backup, it disconnects?

Classic windows.
For some reason it wanted to check internet for new, even though you had it disconnected.

Anyway, always wait for drivers install to finish.

EDIT:

It has to do with your adapter and version of windows.
Because it does not get a certain keep alive packet, it disconnects.
In windows 10, it stays on forever. So I don't have any means to test keep alive packets...
