Hacking Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam on R4DS

Hello PPL!!

When I'm playing Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam and when there are other players on the screen it gets reallllllyyy slllllloooooowwww for a few seconds.

I 'm playing it on an R4DS.

Do you know why does this happen?

Some People (People with HighSpeed MiniSD carts) don't seem to have this problem. How fast is your Mini SD? (If it's not writen on the card itself it's ok , we can probably assume that it is fairly slow then. )

Some people say using a Kingston 1 GB MicroSD from Japan will solve the problem.

I'd advice to just buy the game or play another Tony Hawk-game

the thing is that I am actually using a "Japanese" Kingston microSD. Still not knowing what to assume.

It's a problem with the R4 that has existed since it first came out. The only way around it is another flashcart or an original THJ cart. I don't see the R4 team ever fixing it, it's probably a problem with the way the firmware works.

I'd say probably Hardware problem rather than a Firmware problem (in my opinion).

Doesn't the same thing happen with most microSD based slot 1 flashcarts on this game? I know I've heard that the Cyclo Evo has the same problem.
