Is Tom Nook evil, or at least the antagonist in animal crossing?

I have said it before on the temp and I will say it again he is a fucking cunt. He scams a young kid into taking a house that they can't afford then he forces them to work for him doing jobs that he could easily do himself. Then you just about clear off your massive debt to him and he then pretty much forces you into upgrading the house at a great cost and you are in debt to the motherfucker again.

I'm actually gonna go with no, because how many banks out there give you interest-free loans without any monthly minimum payment attached? Not to mention the incredibly generous amount of money he'll give you for bugs and twigs and shit.
