Hi guys, I have a question. Is there any faster way we can test if a Title Key is the correct one? Instead of changing hex line 180 and trying to install the nsp?

Hactool is the only one able to however there are a lot of derivatives/GUIs that can also do the job.

Does Hactool verify if the key is correct or will extract "garbage" ?

It will only successfully extract if the keys are appropriate. That goes for the titlekey as well.

Nut has a title key verifier (for base games) built in. There are a few ways to do it, however the easiest way is to simply try to unlock the NSX.

edit: Nut will also verify the key inside of a NSP with ./nut.py -i path/to/nsp
