After playing it last night I wondered the same thing. What is different on the DS version then? It looks and feels just like a GBA game (which is by no means a bad thing) with an extra map-screen.

As in they took something out for the DS version? Thats what I dont like with these releases for the same game on GBA AND DS. Pokemon Rescue was acceptable cause they always split it up...

Anyways, I'm going to try the GBA version first, looks good.

Doesn't work with real time saving... if you want no trainer use the EUR version, they work the same.

The DS version has the MAP on bottom screen, GBA you must press select. The graphics are very slightly improved on the DS.
Are the animations really missing from the DS game? That doesn't make sense.

If you want a clean copy that bad, I'll make you one. Took me forever to find the game on store shelves, everywhere I go it's already sold out. Crazy.

BTW, the DS version is crummy compared to the GBA version. Play them side by side if you can, and enjoy the hastily-ported DS version if you think it's better - but it isn't. Via GameRankings, the DS version scored 61%, while the GBA version scored 80%. Mind you the GBA version only has one review thus far, but read the reviews for both versions and see for yourself. The game was originally developed for GBA, the quick-and-dirty DS version really looks quick-and-dirty.

Maybe iam wrong - but it isnt your game. its an illegal copy of a game released and trained by a group called rising sun. nobody really cares about your gba collection - collect stamps or anything else but not illegal software.

if you dont like this release the way it was released - simply go and buy a original.

I guess you dont have any clue how long it takes to create a trainer like that one. you are just a customer and your only qualifikatio is to turn a gba on and off.

The only real reason I want a pure dump is cause Rising Sun sucks ass more than .....well I guess I high ranking officer in the Navy....I don't want their name anywhere on my computer. "Sure i could dump it myself...shit I used to do it all the time...till I learned of IPS patches....and hey if RS wants to waste their money....as long as they aren't putting retarted intros or what was that last time you guys did when it got all heated? Oh thats right put a password on the rom. lol..gimme a break. If TRM was such a great thing then why is that group dead? Why does nobody support that group? Rising Sun would love some competition so please take some of that money you brag about and do something with it. In the meantime RS will deliver 90% of the released GBA roms to the community you feel that you are a leader of.

We should all be able agree that there is nothing offensive about a trainer menu where you can just PRESS START AND SKIP IT WITH NO HARM TO YOU OR THE GAME PLAY. If you think Rising Sun owes you an apology for making you move your thumb to the start button, think again.
