Does anyone know how to tighten the part that connects the top part of the DS to the bottom?

I have a picture of it circled below.

Because my DS is sorta flimsy now, the top screen, and i can feel the whole top half move back and forth sometimes and it irritates me. Most of it is eliminated when I flip it all the way back, however, it should be fine clicked in the first place.

Ya gotta bust that thing open and tighten the hinges themselves, I'm not sure if you can tighten the locking mechs though, might be a hinge in there that you could tighten.

Hey, guys, could check something for me?

If you like hold the DS and sort of move it back and forth, can you see and feel the top section itself go back and forth? If you grasp the top right corner of the DS and gently wiggle it, does it actually move? Like can you see the hatch part that connects the two screens together move? Cause I want to check if its just my DS.

Bump.

P.S. Also, when the volume is low during gaming, I can hear crackling sounds that go away once the volume goes higher... But when I watch movies on it, there's nothing. Is this normal?

Yeah it wiggles naturally. And to open it, just get a screw driver, make sure you're grounded so static electricity doesn't fry the mobo of the DS. To open the top screen you need to take the rubber pads off and unscrew those, then pry it open.
Here's a video: clicky

How do I make sure I'm grounded again? Haven't done this in a while.

Any screwdriver? I heard you need a gamebit thing?

Once I open it, what do I do?
