No way in hell it will be $200 (maybe refurbished?) maybe anywhere from $250-300 would be reasonable. All evidence points to a fusion home and portable console so you can play anywhere with one system. Nintendo consoles usually also have about a 5 year lifespan, so I would estimate release around Holiday 2017 with more information given at E3 2016.

Nintendo worked together with AMD so they could do a hardware for WiiU that could enter in Wii mode, to avoid having to big of a console, didn't they? (I remember reading something like that a long time ago... but I don't remember that well)..

If they worked that close to AMD when building the WiiU, maybe they are doing it again now

My iPhone is to damn big (and to thin), the Wii U is to damn small. Need more room for ports (Ethernet, USB, GC, 2nd HDMI)

What's the second game?

Mario 64

I believe many aren't aware of this so they basically just think it works with one game only. Two games isn't a lot either.

Edit: Other 64 VC are GC compatibletoo.

They always advertised it as Smash Bros specific, so I didn't expect this. Maybe there's a chance they'll add support to it in more games too.

sounds like we might have the option to buy the NX with or without a tablet controller....thought I heard someone talking about that option for the Wii U...oh thats right every Nintendo fan on the internet suggested that!

$149 without tablet
$299 with tablet

WiiU with no tablet = NX - thats just my theory, a GAME THOERY.

Nintendo better not pull more gimmicky shit like the GamePad because it didn't even go that well for the Wii U either.

Is it fair to say that old games wont be compatible as they are switching from a PowerPC CPU to an AMD CPU ?
Wasn't alot of the compatibility of old Nintendo games to new systems was because they kept using the same CPU (PowerPC) ? Non ?

The NX will be a tablet with a small receptor.
The receptor will be able to stream the wiiU and the 3ds for compatible games, like the newZelda. In zelda, the NX will be used mostly for a second display for maps and potion creation and maybe some mini-games.
Now, think whatever you want, but i did what i had to do.
