Well it kinda sucks they didn't leave any gates open for a direct sequel. Unless they do something like, meeting Joshua in the real world, getting Neku and buds back to the UG for whatever reason

I think there are open gates. Like the one of the Composer telling the same is happening to Shibuya is spreading to the other UG, and if you read the Secret Reports, there are posible ways.

I don''t really think there would be a sequel , the fact that TWEWY original plot was the "destruction" of Shibuya sorta made it the "final" one , don'tcha think?

Actually, Shibuya was just the test ground... or Ground Zero for the "disaster" that was spreading to other places. Perhaps the sequel could be about how other areas dealing with the disaster, or the origin of the disaster (a new cast of villains perhaps?).
