While Nintendo is crying because the Wii U failed and didn't sell very well, I am really enjoying mine and the Wii U is my favorite Nintendo system!

I can play all Nintendo games of every systems on it: NES, SNES, N64, NGC, Wii & Wii U, GBC, GBA, DS.

There is not a lot of games but all are awesome! Zelda WW HD, Zelda TPHD, BOTW, Smash Bros, MK8...

I can play on TV or on gamepad!

So yeah I love the Wii U much more than the Switch

That's kind of it's problem. It's only good because of retrocompatibility, not because of the 2 interesting games exclusive to the Wii U.
However I still agree it's great, especially for me since I never got a Wii/GC before and while Dolphin is great, I don't like its input lag when playing Melee. And that's still far better than the Switch with 0.5 games (BoTW, and that's only on the Wii U) and 0 retrocompatibility.

Yeah right now it's considered by me to the ultimate console.
I don't think the switch will get to that level.
But one of the main reasons of the Wii U being great is hacking.

The problem is that you get the most out of it through hacking.
The selection of VC for every console only consists of very very well-known things where-as with injects you can play anything you want on it.
Plus Gamecube, having Nintendont was pretty neat. I honestly regret trading my Wii U in for a decent amount off my Switch for that reason alone.

Hoping the Switch's hacking scene is just as good and they put on Gamecube VC so we can eventually get injects.

I don't think the Switch will have really taken off for a couple of years. It took the Wii U a lot of time to build up a good library of exclusives but those first couple of years were really slow. Currently we have a new Nintendo console out with again not much in the lineup and it seems the only title of any current merit is Mario Odysee which we will be seeing at E3 along with some other announcements. So time-wise it's looking like the release slate will again be slow.

Hoping that Nintendo impresses this E3, it's going to be a vital one for them if they want the Switch to succeed.

I think the best Nintendo 1st party game are on Wiiu to be honest.
The artwork and gameplay in most game is unmatched.
Plus the Wiiu is actually very powerful, the lighting and shader effects are astounding.

The problem with Nintendo is that they're pushing hardware to it's limits at it's very end. [Look at Wii, Gamecube and even Gameboy]

Nintendo isn't crying about the Wii U, they've just recognized that they need to move on. It failed to be a financial success and consequently failed to retain 3rd party support especially with its lower end specs compared to the competition, but that doesn't mean it was a poor system, and I don't think Nintendo views it that way either. I love the Wii U, and while I also love my Switch, I'm never going to get rid of my Wii U as it can play just about any Nintendo game ever released (prior to the Switch) with exception to 3DS games, and some N64 and DS games. In time though when the Switch really starts to stack on some quality games, I can see it surpassing my love for my Wii U.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.

What matters now is that he's doing alright.
