Hi all,

I have the worse card possible - an R4 clone:( and desperately need to change it!
I have a DS Lite.

I would particularly like to play the following games:
Alice in Wonderland (overcome the nasty AP with the red knight)
Golden Sun
Okamiden
Ghost Trick

What card do you recommend? Commercial ROM compatibility is the key, cost is not a problem.
Also I'm from Europe, Romania - so point me to some shops that cover that.

Thanks a bunch!

I seem to be just on the bleeding edge of this stuff.
I got an R4 when they were all the rage.
I switched to an Acekard 2.1 a year later cause the R4 went unsupported.
And now I want a DSTwo cause they are ballin. Slot 1 GBA emulation? yes please.
Have you got a DS Lite? Because you'd do better to get an EZ-Flash 3in1 instead of a DStwo, just for GBA games.
The GBA emulation is pretty good, but it's flawed, the 3in1 plays games on native hardware perfectly.

Oh dont worry im not getting a DSTwo strictly for GBA. Im just pumped that the DSTwo can do it and ill use it with a grain of salt. Ill be ok.

I suggest getting your hands on a legit R4 or going a bit higher and getting an Acekard.
Lol wheres Rayden when you need him. Hes got a handy chart he likes to post.
Basically you have 3 choices nowadays.
R4- works fine with Wood, even if it is bare bones.
Acekard 2.1, 2i- better with better support and whatnot.
DSTwo - is the bees knees but its $35. But it does just about everything including on the fly AP patching.

Does this look legit? http://www.gameplay.ro/nintendo-ds/11-r4ds.html Tnx!

If that is EXACTLY the box and card you got, im pretty sure thats legit. However.
We have a topic around here for checking against fakes.
...but i cant find it at the moment.

I'd rather have an unperfect emulation on Slot-1 than losing my save files on Slot-2 once the internal battery runs out.

Oh shoot does the 3in1 have a battery? Thats strange. I thought it would just run the saves and stuff off the card.

The 3in1 uses a battery for things like storing PSRAM saves until they're loaded to slot 1 and things like that. I haven't done much 3in1 stuff for a while, but that's a part of it, certainly.

Hi guys looking for a flash cart that works on the DSI. GBA support would be nice...
Money is no issue.

So is the SuperCard DS Two the best cart for me?

Really appreciate the fast replies guys. What other carts are good for the DSI? I wouldn't know I am a DS Lite user with Cyclo DS. I am buying this for a friend thanks!

Hi, I'm interested in getting a new Flashcard, I already have an R4 clone, but it doesn't support the most recent firmware, so I'm going to get a new one, I'm looking into getting an M3, but I don't want to make the same mistake I made with R4 (buying a clone thinking it's a legit one) so can someone please tell me if THIS ONE is legit, and if it supports the most recent firmware

Aditional info: I have a DS Lite

thx in advance

If your looking for a flashcard with the most recent firmware updates, i'd get a Supercard.
The M3 is somewhat like a R4 clone.

About that link..
Im pretty sure it is legit.

Don't get a M3, it's not any better than your R4 clone

get an Acekard or DSTWO

R4 Clones rule. theres almost no game they wont play if you use the right firmware.
Not really; I've spent more than 2 days looking for a good firmware, and the only one that didn't crash or just diddn't display a black screen was the one for the original R4...

@all the others:
Actually the reason I picked the M3 is because that that is the best choice in Price/Parameters, and I really trust that shop's delivery and support

as for the Acekard I've been searching and it seams like the only version available is 2i, and since I don't have a DSi I don't think it'll be a choice

I also have a friend that had a DSTWO, he said it's more trouble than it's worth, mainly kuz it crashed in 3 months

The choice is yours, but if you get that M3 expect to back here a week later asking the same questions you just asked about your R4 clone

Does anyone know if flashcarts work with Nintendo wifi(playing roms online)? If so, which ones?
I'm also looking for a flashcart that supports time events in games like Pokemon and works with a microSDHC card.
Price is not a problem. The flashcart must support all NDS games and have frequent updates.
