Hacking The usb loading

Hi, I heard that instead of burning to discs there is the possibility of using a usb which is much more simple and economic. I wanna know what I have to change in order to make this work. I use one of the most recent Neogamma R9 betas and my wii firmware is 4.2 and has the homebrew channel.

How does the usb thing work ? Do I just put my iso files in it and connect it to the wii and launch from neogamma ? I heard about something called usb gekko that is like a channel made just for the usb loading but I'm not quite sure how to get it.. also what kind of usb should I get ? Someone told me hdd but where can I get that and how much capacity should it have ?

Hi, take a look at configurable usb loader, the thread is sticky. Neogamma also got a usb loader but it's not that good.

thank you for the answer , and one silly question: Does the region my iso comes from matter or does this method automatically detect it and uses the right config ?
