Open Cydia, go to sources, then edit, add and type in this repo

http://cydia.myrepospace.com/gbatemp/

I've sent out PM's to 3 people I feel should be repo mods, iFish, Shaunj66 and Dialexo.
Maybe more people will be added maybe not

If you want to add a theme, make it by following the guide here, and post a download link (preferably in a deb format)

How to make a deb file

The Control file

1. Make a folder (preferably one letter (can be renamed later)), for the purpose of the tutorial it's called "Y"

2. Create a folder in Y called "DEBIAN" (case sensitive), in this folder create a text file and put this in
CODE
Package: com.gbatemp.yourapp
Name: Appname (No spaces alowed)
Version: Number
Architecture: iphoneos-arm
Description: Small Description (this is just the line
Homepage: Your Website
Maintainer: YourName
Author: YourName
Sponsor: YourWebSiteName
Section: Theme/tweak etc


MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS AN EMPTY LINE AT THE END, IF THERE ISN'T IT WON'T WORK

3. Fill in the necessary info and save as "control" (NO EXTENSION) into \Y\DEBIAN\

For a theme

1. Inside of \Y\ make a folder called "Library"

2. In \Y\Library\ make another folder called "Themes"

3. Finally in \Y\Library\Themes\ paste your theme folder (Plus a .theme at the end of the folder name ie. Megaman.theme)

For an App

1. In \Y\ make a folder called "Applications"

2. In \Y\Applications\ paste your app folder (Plus a .app at the end of the folder name ie. iFile.app)

Creating the deb file

1. SSh into your device (if you don't know how to do this then follow the guide here)

2. Navigate to \var\root\ copy/paste "Y" into this folder

3. In the WinSCP terminal type this command (case sensetive and Y being the name of your folder)

dpkg -b Y

3a. Or in the Mobile terminal type in the command

login root

b. Then it should prompt you for a password, the password should be "alpine" (unless you've changed it)

c. Now type in this command (case sensetive and Y being the name of your folder)

dpkg -b Y

4. Now the deb file is in the \var\root\ folder, be sure to delete it after you have copied it to your computer

Edit-- By the way, we don't have to use a free one. Cydia repos are really easy to set up, just time consuming to maintain.

well what do you guys mean bout illegal files? i thought jailbreaking is legal in us because apple wants happy customers but [Redacted] is still illegal.

We host whatever we want, so probably just themes, we don't have to host [Redacted]

Nice iea, as soon as snow leopard arrives for my hackintosh and I've set up some apps I'll use it to post my Beta's. My full releases will go to a default repo like MMI though, so I get more downloads.

It's supposed to add an icon for the repo, but it won't work on my ipod

Added and the icon pack works on my 3rd gen iPod on iOS4.1
