I came across this topic by accident..
And was already enjoying the version RELOADED released, but apperantly it wasn't the whole game..
Awesome..

So, when does it really gets released again?

word on loads of forums BOTH RELEASES are VALID as both are RETAILS but from different country's!

The missing LOT or neighborhood is apparently downloadable in both games and people have successfully downloaded it along with other content!

There is also a real patch from EA that was withdrawn from the EA servers quite quickly that will update the Reloaded release to the Razor build ...... and recently today there was a patch also that Supposedly just adds the extra content !?


Both releases work and both are updateable! ..some people claim more content with the RAZOR release some say more in the RELOADED release !?

Oops, my language was there. Not installer itself but you can choose which one to use in in-game after installation. Sorry to bump unnecessarily.

EDIT: Damn, it wasn't. I did choose but it has no effect at all. Maybe I should copy reloaded's resource and sorta things related to localization to this one... what a one man show... Orz...

well it is a mac...not built for gaming kid.

Yeah, EA boosted so much about it running smoothly on macbooks and older computers. I just got this laptop in Dec. Hopefully the official version will turn out a lot smoother. If not I might have to return to sims 2/

I think it just updates all the files to razors release since the razor release has new versions of the files

They did say it would run smoothy on old computers but a 6 month year old mac ?

If you are looking for one of these ja-JP, ko-KR or zh-TW language like me the answer is "FullBuild0.package" from reloaded version. Oh, and don't forget the registry entry.

Normally I would download the game and buy it when it comes out, but if EA is cutting the DRM on this release, I'll do my part to not download it. Anyone try it on a netbook yet?

If it runs at 3-5 FPS on a 7200 GS, then it won't work at all on a Netbook

MATY or something, appears to be some kind of clan, released it. Others claimed that too..

What more are you expecting out of this "real final" if it exists over razor anyway?

Yeah, if you watch the startup menu of The Sims 3, you can see you can get a new town(Riverview) and some extra's when registering at EA or something.
