We all know that something like this won't happen, but you know what would be the most cruel Nintendo revenge against people trying to exploit their consoles?

Release a new console, and deliberately place some exploit entrypoints. These entrypoints are explicitly designed to only allow access to installing games, but NOT game updates.

After GBATemp and other exploit forums finally declare victory and claim that another Nintendo console is hackable, Nintendo will quietly release a small update for every game, which will become mandatory. However, as exploit users wouldn't be able to use the internet to download the update, nor does the exploit allow game updates, they will be left with an unupdated version, which only displays the following screen:

"GOTCHA! Piracy is a very illegal act. We have placed these exploits for you to find and catch pirates. Now that you have fallen into our trap, your console has been bricked. Seeya!"

Same shit, different day nothing to see here folks 😂.

I think Nintendo hasn't been adding features for this very reason, possibly creating a hole in their system software.

Sure, Sony will release their PS5 signing keys after the E3 and Microsoft will invite people to PNET so that everyone could get the games half a year before launch :')

Please stop posting drivel like this and go outside.
Locked.
