  3. Return to the main menu
  4. Memory switch Settings (4th lines) -> Extension Board (6th lines)

Hi. I've never seen that "trick" for games without sound. Some websites explain that the sound files corresponding to the sound system change depending on the sound card or some other factor, and that's why the game can be heard whether one or the other is used. But in fact, based on my experience using the emulator and those sound files specific to each model, the result is the same... still no sound. Thanks for the info, friend. I'll try it when I can. Now I'm struggling with the vertical arcades on the Wii, lol. Greetings.

Has anyone tried Yu-No for PC-98?. I've been trying to play it, and although it does work, it has a few audio issues. It seems some instruments are out of sync, but im not really sure.

Hi. In my project, I'm focusing more on PC98 arcade-style games, but when the time comes, I'll try the Yuno with different machine and sound configurations to see if the audio improves

Uny update?
I’m working on a two-Wiiflow setup: one exclusively for vertical arcade games and another just for horizontal ones. I’ll get back to the NEC-98 emulator when I have time, though practically all the games were running well at the point where I left off—except for a couple of *Touhou* titles and *Flame Zape Kutsujin*, which I couldn't get working under any configuration.
Once I finish the Wiiflow project, I’ll revisit the PC-98 emulator because it’s a system that really interests me. At the same time, who knows? Someone might already be working on—or planning—a PC-98 core port for the Wii that would let us play those few games that don't run properly right now. My project involves a crazy amount of configuration via Wiiflow to get the games running, so picking it back up will take time and effort, but that’s no problem. Cheers.

So where is it? Your workaround
I haven't uploaded any emulator configuration files yet—neither here nor on my YouTube channel. That’s actually what modifying the emulator is all about: tweaking its settings. I’ll upload everything once I pick the project back up. A friend from the forum asked if I could show how I launch NEC PC-98 games via WiiFlow, since he didn't know how yet; extracting the specific data needed isn't easy, as it relies on several "tricks" I discovered in the configuration to "trick" the emulator into automatically reading highly customized settings. I know there are plans to create another NEC PC-98 emulator, but I don't want to say anything prematurely.
When I resume work on the emulator, I’ll share everything I can.
