Hi,

I just wanted to ask you guys what is the proper way to format my microSD ? It is a 8 GB Kingston. By formatting it with FAT32 and 64k for the allocation unit size I always get random freezes during the loading of the games and/or when I'm playing. This is weird because I never had any sort of problem with my old Kingston 1GB. Any solution ???

P.S: The games are the 3 Castlevania DS and Aria of Sorrow on GBA + Chrono Trigger and I'm using the latest version of Sakura on my M3 DS Real.

Well, I installed the update, and even though the cheats seem to work, Prof. Layton 3 still fails to load. Sad face.

Pokemon Black has an Anti Action Replay security built in in addition to the Anti Piracy. So far, the Anti Piracy has been patched but not the Anti-AR. Simply adding the codes in won't work. I believe the Japanese version had the same problem.

To NRJ- As of right now, you can either wait and hope a patch will be released soon or experiment with different OSs on your M3. If it doesn't work on Sakura, try that new R4 firmware or any others in existence. One might work. If one does work, please do report your findings.

I've noticed that Sakura, and touchpod both have issues with starting newer games, or perhaps patched games with cheats enabled.

Resulting in BSODs that usually don't go away until an update for the firmware is released.

Just thought I'd mention it.

Edit: Looks like people are having the same problem, and yes if you load up YSM3 on Sakura you can then enable and use cheats fine with B/W at least for the US version.

I got the same problem for the German version. It looks like the newest build has problems with cheats enabled.
I might give the Quadboot a try and hope for a fix soon.

Been using mine for more than 2 years now without any problems.
So I got out and bought one for my GF.

After coming home from the shop I noticed it's not the same card I have, it's a M3i Zero GMP-Z003.
Is there any way I can get Sakura running on this card?

At the moment I can only get Touchpod to run on it...
When trying Sakura I get the pink Sakura screen with: v1.49 loading......
It freezes on that screen.

I already upgraded the F_CORE.dat to v2.0.2 (dated 10th of June 2011).
But without any luck...

Any ideas?

I think this Sakura run on it, but I suggest picking up a better card like an Acekard 2i or a Supercard Two, since the GMP-Z003 isn't very good

I don't Sakura will work. Seeing as they locked out alternate firmwares and Sakura really wasn't an official firmware, it was more of an official unofficial firmware made by the M3 Team ironically. Still they locked their own firmware out just because of that fact.

If you want to get technical, Touchpod was the official firmware long before Sakura.
