@powered_by_tux: I've updated the FAQ with the new bug. I'm sure g6team comes around here and checks things out, he's always listening to our feedback. But I suppose I could forward the list to them directly as well.

I'm also going to send them the entire package of revised translations.

I just need a few more:
messages.003 (Italian)
messages.005 (Portuguese)
messages.006 (Dutch)

If anyone can just tell me how to say the word "Switch" or "Toggle" (in the context of switching/toggling cheats on and off in a game) in these languages, I could just fix the strings myself and send the revisions to M3 in one file.

About the English translation, I found an error:

ERRMSG0_GBAExtNotFind1=No Slot-2 memory detected.
ERRMSG1_GBAExtNotFind=Unable to establish NDS-GBA link.

To fix this, put the 1 after ERRMSG1_GBAExtNotFind in second line

ERRMSG0_GBAExtNotFind1=No Slot-2 memory detected.
ERRMSG1_GBAExtNotFind1=Unable to establish NDS-GBA link.

Without this the "Unable to establish NDS-GBA link." message is changed to "Language error!!"

Densetsu, thank you for your great package ("M3 Sakura 1.34 Beta for US/EUR M3 Real (English)" with the latest Touchpod system (v4.2e E38)) !
But I have a question : are TouchPod languages other than english supported ? because in the readme you mention menu.eng with font fixing etc... but what about menu.fra, menu.ger, ..., are they also up to date and font fixed ?
Maybe my question is not relevant ? but it is unclear to me.

I didn't really put the package together in the first place, I just sort of added to it and uploaded it. I honestly don't know the answer to your question. I'm visiting my fiancee in New York right now and I left my US/EUR flashcart in California, 4600km away. I have no way to check it, so try it out yourself.

I have to ask for another small favor. Can someone please download, re-save and re-upload the following image?

I changed the "4.2d" into "4.2e" to reflect the updated TouchPod loader, but I'm not sure how it needs to be saved. No matter what format I choose to save the .bmp (24-bit/16-bit/256-color, etc.), it doesn't display correctly when loading a ROM in Sakura. I wanted to try 8-bit, but I can't seem to do it in MS-Paint.

Once it's saved to the correct .bmp format, I'll add it into the download. Thanks in advance!

@9600pro: Are you checking to see if the text for the Italian file fits in the Sakura GUI? Because when I was comparing the the language files, I noticed that some of the Italian text strings are REALLY long!

In order for a bitmap to be displayed correctly by Sakura, it needs to be saved in 24-bit mode, which it honestly was. I re-saved it with GIMP, now it simply must display correctly.

I just tried it in my DS and it's just showing a white screen

I've been having troubles running Sakura - regardless of how I format it (FAT. FAT32, various allocation sizes, Windows formatter, Panasonic formatter, etc.), I'm lucky to be able to boot it once - usually I get black screens. When it does boot without any problems, all I have to do is turn it off and back on, and it won't boot. When this happens, sometimes I just have to put it into the computer, do ABSOLUTELY nothing to it, then put it back in my M3, and it will boot just fine again - once.

I suspect that my SD card could be a part of the problem, but I'm not certain. I'm using a 2GB Lexar SD (not SDHC) made in Taiwan - probably not the highest quality.

It's also possible that one of the modifications in the custom package is causing some instability, since I can usually get two or three good boots out of the original beta release - the custom pack, as mentioned above, might not even boot the first time.

Any thoughts, suggestions?
