I'm not really sure how these cheats work. They're all checked when I load in Edizon. So I unchecked the ones I want and they don't work. There's a restore code and I've used it after I checked the ones and before I check them and it seems to do nothing.

If I uncheck a ton of them they all seem to work. But I can't make just a few work. What am I doing wrong.

first code works on all mats even if you only have one.
second code works on crystalized charges you pick up from the top of a tower at one of the chasam mines and also on zonai devices, it don't work on korok seeds tho

Why do literally all of these cheats write to the same first address? I assume the first line is supposed to be an IF statement, but I'm very sure that those cheats should not start with 04000000 like all the others. If they are supposed to be IF statements, then that means every last cheat in this post doesn't work properly, and for good reason. I refuse to use a cheat when I know it was done wrong and don't know it's actual effect; that's like running an .exe file contained in a random torrent uploaded by an anonymous user without an antivirus. Not happening. And judging by all the people in here saying that using these cheats broke their game in some way, it's definitely not happening without some serious reassurance.

It's on atmosphere/config_templates you have to copy it to atmosphere/config (create this folder if it doesn't exist).

And when you open the file you have to remove the first symbol on any option you want to activate ";" so "; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1" you change to "dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0".

You can also change "; dmnt_always_save_cheat_toggles = u8!0x0" to "dmnt_always_save_cheat_toggles = u8!0x1" if you want the cheats that you toggle ON to stay active after loading the game and all the ones you had OFF will stay OFF.

Note: after loading the game you should open Tesla menu for the cheats to start working automatically with the conditions above, at least for me using Edizon overlay as soon as I open Tesla menu the cheats I had ON activate right away...

I did this and the cheats are still on by default lol.

Just saying most ppl that broke their save used something they should not have early I have nt had a problem yet but I guess I don't use any of the crazy codes earthier durability max and 900 items/food and moon jump on ocasion

heres my file that has most of the stuff currently out including some edits that have been posted here. do not delete the 900 item multiplier. has that works on zonai tools. also there's a mine in the depths that has crystalized charges at the top of a tower on a grate where smoke comes out to pick up. with the item multiplier on those specific cc give 900 each

These are 1.1.0 but ther are also ones for 1.0.0

I did this and the cheats are still on by default lol.

This is a four step process and people often miss a step.

You copy the system_settings.ini from Atmosphere/config_templates

Check to ensure that it says "dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0" and "dmnt_always_save_cheat_toggles = u8!0x0"

With either 0 to disable or 1 to enable by default and save toggles you pick. Meaning do not use 1 for the first and 1 for the second either use 1 than 0, 0 than 1, or 0 than 0. First enables all cheats by default and is no recommended, second disables all cheats by default but saves the ones you toggle on, and the last disables all by default so you have to toggle them on everytime you close the game. You also have to ensure that the config file has no ; (semicolon)

So it should look like this:

dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0
; Controls whether dmnt should always save cheat toggle state
; for restoration on new game launch. 1 = always save toggles,
; 0 = only save toggles if toggle file exists.
dmnt_always_save_cheat_toggles = u8!0x0

With your choices inserted. Then save the file and copy it to the atmosphere/config folder which is empty be default if you did not get a modified version. And the most important part restart to payload and boot back in. I find that this step is not always required but I do every time I modify any settings or add anything to ensure no issues.

TL;DR:
1 copy the system_settings.ini from Atmosphere/config_templates
2 Check to ensure no semicolon exists before the lines you want to enable
3 use 1/0, 0/1 or 0/0 for both lines so there no conflicts, save file and copy to Atmosphere/config
4 Restart Atmosphere

If that doesn't work try updating atmosphere and follow the instructions one by one.

I also discovered that one of these cheats for 1.0.0 completely fucks up the autobuild history and favorites list, ALL of your favorites become the exact same thing and cannot be unfavorited.
The favorites also become the same as the latest history item, and all the other history items are empty and will spazz out the camera when you try placing them, additionally the "Set favorite" button is displayed in a different language when you select one of those empty history items and re-open the menu.

really hope the OP can fix this.
I'm basically using all the cheats except for the Moonjump code

Cheats work on Yuzu just fine, but not in the same way it does on Ryujinx. You are going to have to make separate folders and text files for each individual cheat you want enabled (of course, the text files should still be named by the build ID of the game). Also, the names of the folder should be exactly the same as the name of the cheat in the text file. If they don't match, the cheat will not work. I attached some screenshots, hopefully they will help me explain exactly what I mean
