I honestly have no idea, as I said, it was what someone else said, in the hykem 5.5 iosu exploit threadyou mean 65536 combinations

Its hex, so theres 16 possible values, and there are 8 unknown spots. It permutes as 16^8, which is well over 4 billion.I honestly have no idea, as I said, it was what someone else said, in the hykem 5.5 iosu exploit thread

Yeah a method of testing them is the hard part. You would have to reboot each and every time most likely. It won't be that hard. You just need a method to test the keys. It won't take long to brute force those bytes.
That all depends on if that's two keys or one.Its hex, so theres 16 possible values, and there are 8 unknown spots. It permutes as 16^8, which is well over 4 billion.

Assuming you can actually test 100 a second...You would need to check 8589934592 combinations at most to get the key, guessing 100 keys a seconds would take ~4 years at worst.
took me like 2 minutes, and indeed the first key can decrypt the fw.img file so good job Hykem.Yeah a method of testing them is the hard part. You would have to reboot each and every time most likely.
