When will a new DK game come out? I was thinking one of these three ideas:

Donkey Kong Country: Triple Threat - Sequel to DKCR and DKC:TF and has the same gameplay from those games, but with new added stuff, like King K. Rool teams up with the bad guys from DKCR and DKC:TF.

Donkey Kong's Knitty Jungle - Made by the team that made Kirby's Epic Yarn and Yoshi's Woolly World that uses the DKC and DKCR games for gameplay elements, while using similar wool graphics from the other two games.

Donkey Kong: Congo Bongo Trilogy - Taking a page from Crash Bandicoot: The N. Sane Trilogy by remastering the DKC trilogy from the SNES, using graphics from DKCR/DKC:TF and even a new lost world in DKC1. Even the return of Pacifica from DKC3 GBA.

How about a nice 2.5D game in the classic style of Donkey Kong Country? I don't think the new once are as good as the older once.

Nintendo should give them the rights to make it :)
Banjo etc. won't be there, but they could invent some new characters or bring in Yooka etc.
Yeah, if they remade DKR or made a sequel, Yooka and Laylee could take Banjo and Conker's place.

What if they made a "yarn" style game, like Kirby's Epic Yarn and Yoshi's Woolly World? You collect beads, instead of bananas to buy items, like in YWW and there are banana coins, DK coins, crystal coconuts, and K-O-N-G letters hidden in each stage. I'm pretty sure the lives system will be ditched since KEY and YWW didn't have them. I mean DK64 didn't even use one. Imagine finding crystal coconuts, hidden among the beads, like in YWW.

I don't like the yarn idea. Nintendo etablishe Donkey kong as their hardest Jump'n Runs and the yarn games are the easiest. I love the yarn games but Kirby and yoshi are enough. A hard 2D Jump'n Run would be great. The Donkey Kong Country style could look great on the switch.

Plus, Kirby and Yoshi have a cute factor to them. DK doesn't. None of the environments from the DK games would even translate to "cutesy" in a DK yarn game. It worked for Kirby and Yoshi, because they already had them in their other games.

I would personally like to see a port of Tropical Freeze to give developers more time to create a new Donkey Kong title. Though I highly doubt they'd port it, my boyfriend would piss if they did.

They ported DKCR to the 3DS, so why not DKC:TF to the Swtich? Plus, didn't they say that Wii U games are getting ported over with new features? (i.e. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2)

These are the games that should be ported over:

Super Smash Bros. For Wii U (Or just give us SSB5 in 2019 or 2020)
Super Mario Maker (The 3DS port was bare bones)
Kirby and The Rainbow Curse
Yoshi's Woolly World (Yes, I know we just got a 3DS port)
Super Mario 3D World (Before Odyssey comes out)
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Pikmin 3 (1 and 2 are already on the Wii U via Wii VC)
Bayonetta 2 (Don't know if the first one was released)
Pokken Tournament
Hyrule Warriors

Not sure about the HD remakes of TWW and TP, maybe the originals via GameCube VC.

I'd love another platformer like Donkey Kong 64. Although Yooka Laylee probably fills that void.
Isn't Yooka-laylee based on Banjo-Kazooie? Besides, donkey kong 64 is maybe more original? I mean it has more characters that no one will ever see again i guess. (Lankey, Tiny, Chunky Kong) It has plenty of bananas, and goofy humor. :P

But yeah, Donkey kong 64 or Diddy Kong racing would be fun again, half of those other games i never really got to play like the one with the drums, the king of swing, what if they just made a game about barrel blasting? Super monkey ball and donkey kong cross over? :P

Come to think of it, nintendo hasn't done mario vs donkey kong game in awhile.

Don't get why DK64 is hated but crap like Ghost Recon and Gears of War is praised for being the same "shooter" crap! BioShock is alright, at least it has a unique setting.

Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo-Kazooie were made by the same people. Yooka Laylee is the same style of game, so what I am saying is that will satisfy most people looking for a DK64 type experience (3D collectathon platformer)

All that's left are Perfect Dark and Conker's Bad Fur Day spiritual successors.

I suppose those are facts we can't ignore, but other facts is the name Banjo-Kazooie and Yooka-Laylee too similar. Two main characters are in the game title, and are pair up as partners, like Banjo-Kazooie, while Donkey kong 64 are made by same people, and do collect many things and are closely similar, the do have 5 different characters, have different abilities, each serve a purpose.

I'm not saying you wrong but most games that was made by Rare for n64 do play much alike and can probably be considered much the same only cause of the collection function the games have, diddy kong racing, collect balloons, and trophies, banjo kazooie, collect jigsaw puzzles, donkey kong 64, collect bananas, Conker's bad fur day, collect cash. :P

Also just curious have you gotten everything last time you played any of these games? Cause i never did and still can't believe some people do like doing that. :)

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
