Should I run wiiscu before or after i run waninkoko's updater.

I ran it before and I am updating my firmware now.
Should i also run it and install all the patched ioses when the updater is done?


and damn lol my wii isint doing anything its just sitting with a list of all the shit it downloaded and the words Title downloaded successfully! at the top... what do i do?

actually now it says Finishing installation... ok!

Is it true that Nintendo can stealthily update your firmware if you are on 4.0 when you go online or does that only apply if you use WiiConnect24?

I dont think Nintendo can stealth upgrade you're wii its to dangerus what if I turn it off and it was doing a update, I'll have a full brick and Nintendo will be at fult.

As far as wiiscu I never heard of it and never used it and my Wii is working fine..

Also if you do update from 3.2 to 4.0 be sure to make time the update took me 10 to 20 minutes..
DONT TURN OFF THE WII WHEN UPDATING, IT WILL FULLY BRCK THE WII.....!!!!!!

lol, yup finally got the balls and used Wainikoko's updater 4.0..

It was way easyer that I could ever had hoped for and I do have Pre Loader v.29 installed and BooyMii v0.2 installed to Boot2..

Yes waninkoko updater is just great. And if you have bootmii installed on boot2 you dont need to worry

I've seen here somewhere that if you are on 3.2 and already have cios installed all you need is just install 3 wads:CIOS60BF.wad, Systemmenu-v417.wad (for NTSC-U) and ios-61-v4890.wad and you should be done. Of course BootMii and NAND backup as a very first step. Then just load Wad manager in HBC and install 3 wads mentioned.

1) Install BootMii and make a NAND backup
2) Optional: Install cIOS30rev10.wad and cMIOSrev3.wad (if you want gamecube backup launcher)
3) Open HBC and start the WAD Installer
a) Install the CIOS60BF.wad
b) Install the System Menu v417.wad (for NTSC-U) 418 for E
c) Install the IOS61 v4890.wad

Why would I need preloader if I have BootMii?
Also CIOSCORP, do I need it?
