When I saw the storyline, it too reminded me of brave story, espically since I'm reading the book now. Sadly, the DS brave story game is only in japanese, and apparently is not a good game at all.

u can ask mod to delete that, and darn, i thought that the ds version would be similar to the psp version, seeing as the only difference is a few MB, so i assume that some downgrade of quality, some cutscene removed and etc, or is that not the case, and well, there is a chinese translated version for that matter...

but u know, i guess i am one of those guys who fancy himself walking around with a big spell book while i play the game, now if i have a spiffy wizard clothes, it will be great

There's a reason why bags were created. Or for better conveniency, scanners and a mobile phone memory card.

I hope the date will be announced, but lately the news fo this game has been slow. The wikipedia date for eu release is most likely fake too (how can it be announced before the J one?)

Nonetheless, I'm expecting a release next year.... hopefully. Oh wait.... I have O Levels next year. Shit.

It'll be a scans reader. They'll scan the pics and load it in ... it'll be an dsi ware to put into the sd card for DSi and GBA for DSL/Phat and the game will sense it and allow access to it..... lol false hope.

Maybe they thought about this issue and has a built in one? Maybe it will be improved over Avalon Code's book of prophecies!!!!

lol, avalon code, speakin of that, wonder if there will be a DSi version where u take ur camera and take pictures here and there to unlock stuff

but still i can't wait for that game to be out

nicely drawn 2D art are a dying breed, too many 3D crap and their fancy realistic graphics

Avalo Code's Book was well integrated... only with lousy browsing interface.... but it was a good thing.... or the 100 classic book collection style could work too.

As for DSi.... I don't think such an exclusive feature is plausible since those without DSi will feel unfairness. And likeI posted in "what games r you waiting for?" thread, Idolm@ster may use the DSis camera to unlock things.

And well, the "realistic graphics" aren't really realistic IMO.... they only look a little good. But I feel giddy looking at 3D somehow

so nice 2D is excellent.

If anyone cares.... its now number 7 on Famitsu's top 30 wanted games, ranking even higher than games such as Pokemon HG/SS and Blood of Bahamut. It used to be 10+ in january

In a Level 5 press conference.... Our dear Level 5 revealed that the game will be in a 512MB card! They say it was done to fit the music in, so I'm expecting the 5 monutes high quality animation a month to be awesome.... Though its Studio Ghibli... so I expected it!

This game is going to be really good.
