also because fatx has file naming restrictions i recommend this python script to rename your n64 backups to conform to fatx specs (also works for og xbox) https://github.com/midnightroachmedia/FATX360
I'm using usb. Though if renaming is still required I can change it manually. I don't play many N64 games overall, mostly just the first party stuff.
I tried two oot hacks. There are bad texture issues, something not present on the xell version.
