Hacking Gaming Disney Dreamlight Valley: Adding Currencies and Items

Hey! Has anyone ever heard of someone getting banned or something? I mean they could check what items you have and if you ever had enough moonstones to purchase those items.

Hello. I haven't heard about anyone getting banned. I personally have been adding items and going online for more than a year and nothing has ever happened. I always add the items the week they are released on the premium shop, not before tho.

Still, like in any game, when you you do stuff like this you have to be aware that the possibility exists.

Thanks so much!

You said you only add items when they‘re in the premium shop the same week. Have you ever added items that were not in the premium shop that week but earlier in the game? I think it wouldn‘t be a problem with the new Preset feature?

Hi all, hoping someone can help with a stuck quest.

On my wife's PC save, the Shopping List for Pooh's Chapter 2 quest ("About Thought, Fog, and Light", the one that unlocks the Hunny Seed Stall) vanished because her inventory was full when she tried to pick it up. It's the known bug Gameloft fixed with a live patch, but her game is offline, so the fix never reached her save.

I've got the save decrypted and can edit it, and there's a free backpack slot ready. All I'm missing is the item ID for the Shopping List. It isn't in the item ID spreadsheet from this thread or in the save editor's item lists.

If anyone has picked it up (or still has it), could you check your save for its ID? It should show in your backpack inventory as an ItemID with Amount 1. Even a screenshot of the line would be great.

Hi! Thank you so much for this guide, it's incredibly helpful! I managed to add pretty much all I wanted, but I wonder about one thing. Is it possible to also add/trigger quests with this method? I'm thinking here about the quests from Dream Bundles (with WALL-E, Ursula, and Beauty and the Beast). I'd like to do the quests "properly", not just add items. If so, how to do it?

Thanks so much!

I have added items from the past, even the ones the game gave away to early adopters, without problem.

I think the ID for the shopping list is 31500573.

If I remember correctly, the quests are triggered by changing the character skin. For Vanessa, go to the collection tab and change Ursula's skin and I think that will trigger the quests.

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried 31500573 in an empty backpack slot (Amount 1, State null), but it broke the inventory: the backpack and pause menu wouldn't open, so I've restored my backup. Does anyone have the Shopping List in their own save and can confirm the actual ID? Or is there a different way it needs to be added?

Thanks @dreamlightcollecter for the suggestion! Unfortunately 31500573 didn't work. I added it to an empty backpack slot (Amount 1, State null), and the backpack and pause menu stopped opening completely, so I've restored my backup. I suspect the 315xxxxx range is consumables or loot rather than quest items.

I also tried marking the quest objective as complete instead. That got the quest moving, but the Honeyglow Elixir then needs a Parsnip, and those only come from the Hunny Seed Stall, which the Shopping List unlocks. So I'm back to needing the list.

Could anyone help with either of these?

  1. Shopping List ID. If you've already repaired the stall, the list won't be in your inventory any more. It may show up under World.Keyholes in your save, as the item placed in the stall. If you search the decrypted save for a keyhole or stall entry in the Honeyglow Woods area, the ItemID there should be it.
  2. Parsnip and/or Parsnip Seed ID. Anyone who's grown parsnips should have them in their inventory or a chest.

Even a screenshot of the relevant lines would be a huge help. Thanks!

hi, everyone I'm new to this forum and not extremely code/tech savy. But i really would like to be able to use the cheats being provided. The biggest issue i think i'll come across even with help is that i started my account on a... modded switch (not sure if that appropriate or not), so it's never been on the internet, therefore it basically only exist on my Nintendo, or at least i think that's how it works. If anyone has any insight or would be willing to help me I'd greatly appreciate it. As I've just recently become serious about the came so there are quite a few things I'd like to be able to do without starting over, such as access premium clothes and a few preset codes if possible at all.

Posting again in case it helps anyone. 31500573 is item ID for the shopping list when it is on the ground, before you collect it. Adding that to your backpack breaks things. Once it is in your backpack it is item ID 30000068, and adding that to the backpack fixed the problem. Thank you for the assist @dreamlightcollector, you got me moving in the right direction.
